Delicious Desserts!

Kate Smith Soiree was a delight to have as our wedding desserts! Kate made it extremely easy to choose our wedding cake flavors, plus dessert bar, where we had a mix of tasty and beautiful cake pops and cookies. Everything was presented beautifully and disappeared quickly once guests found the dessert table! We received so many compliments on the sweets.

Best wedding dessert ever!

We used Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding desserts and we have no regrets! We had a small wedding cake for us, and cupcakes for the rest of the guests. The process from start to finish was amazing, we set up a tasting and were impressed with all of the flavors. It was hard to narrow it down! Once we chose the flavors, we allowed Kate to handle it from there. We were able to rent out the cake stand and cupcake displays which made it very easy to return. She had everything set up the day of the wedding and it was beautiful. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for your desserts!

The best desserts in KC!

Having Kate Smith Soirée as our dessert vendor was absolutely phenomenal — could not recommend her & her team more!

Guests talked all night about how delicious everything was, delivery was right on time, the setup was so thoughtfully styled, and working with her was so pleasant! She is kind, professional, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and presentation we received.

She met with us personally for a complimentary tasting prior to our wedding, and she completely brought our vision to life exactly as we asked — honestly even better than we imagined. If you’re considering them for your wedding or event, don’t hesitate. Worth every penny and more. She’s the best!!!!

Delicious and Fantastic

Kate Soiree was so easy to work with and made our wedding day special. We got to try macarons and cakes prior to our wedding day, and it was easy for us to pick them up on our own time! While working with them was easy, their desserts were the best! They were beautiful and delicious! Since we have had their macarons, we can not get enough of them and keep going back all the time just for a nice treat.

We love you!!

KATE!!!! I cannot say enough good things about her and her team! As an avid baker myself, her creativity and flavors are outstanding! We met Kate at a Wed KC expo and the moment we tried her cupcakes, we knew that this was our cake and dessert vendor. I remember our tasting as my favorite day of wedding planning! Kate was helping set up her desserts while the ceremony was starting and we needed someone to open the doors for my dad and I to walk down the aisle. She stopped what she was doing, hyped me up, and opened the doors for us. She is such a beautiful human and a badass bakery owner! We stop in once in a while for a sweet treat. What an awesome vendor, WE LOVE YOU!!!

Amazing Cake!!

I absolutely loved working with Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding cake! From start to finish, she made the process so easy and fun. Her company is incredibly organized, well-priced, and she truly goes above and beyond. We chose a custom heart-shaped cake for our wedding, and it turned out even better than we imagined—it was stunning and delicious. The cake tasting was such a fun experience, and all of her flavors are both unique and incredibly tasty. I would highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for any cake needs—she made our day that much sweeter.

Our Favourite Bakery

Kate Smith Soiree is my favourite bakery, you can find me there weekly for a coffee and chocolate croissant. I knew I had to get my wedding cake from them too! Kate worked with me on a weirdly specific request I needed and made it an easy process. The cake was so tasty too! We also got a small macaroon tower which all the guests loved. The food is all so delicious and Kate is so lovely. Everyone should go check them out!!

No better baker in town! She made our wedding perfect.

We loved working with Kate and her team! They brought creativity, compassion, and all of their talent to our day. Working with them was so special as they really took the time to listen to what we wanted, went the extra mile to make us feel important, and were communicative through every step. Our day was so perfect with their help and everything was delicious! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the cake flavors — and the slutty brownies! We’ve been recommending them to all of our friends and will definitely be working with them again in the future.

Wedding Reception Review

I can't recommend Kate Smith Soiree enough. Kate and her entire time are fantastic. We asked her to create a variety of different desserts for our wedding including our cake, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our first meeting, to our tasting, and the day of, she made the whole process so easy and fun. When our venue said certain desserts needed to be made in house, Kate easily updated our invoice for us and best of all, she even surprised me with the macarons from our original order on the day - personally packaged for us to take home and enjoy. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, and she has customers for life in us. Our guests are still talking about how good everything was!

Don't miss out on this amazing bakery!

From the first time I met with Kate at my tasting I was blown away by her attention to detail. During the tasting I was shocked by the number of desserts I was able to try. Of all the tastings I did, hers was by far the most professionally presented. Kate answered all my questions and was responsive when I contacted her with questions. We chose a champagne cake with strawberry filling and multiple small desserts for a dessert table. Everything was delicious!! I wish I knew how to make macarons like hers. Schedule your tasting today! You will not be disappointed.
