Delicious Desserts!
Kate Smith Soiree was a delight to have as our wedding desserts! Kate made it extremely easy to choose our wedding cake flavors, plus dessert bar, where we had a mix of tasty and beautiful cake pops and cookies. Everything was presented beautifully and disappeared quickly once guests found the dessert table! We received so many compliments on the sweets. -

We used Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding desserts and we have no regrets! We had a small wedding cake for us, and cupcakes for the rest of the guests. The process from start to finish was amazing, we set up a tasting and were impressed with all of the flavors. It was hard to narrow it down! Once we chose the flavors, we allowed Kate to handle it from there. We were able to rent out the cake stand and cupcake displays which made it very easy to return. She had everything set up the day of the wedding and it was beautiful. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for your desserts! -

Having Kate Smith Soirée as our dessert vendor was absolutely phenomenal — could not recommend her & her team more!
Guests talked all night about how delicious everything was, delivery was right on time, the setup was so thoughtfully styled, and working with her was so pleasant! She is kind, professional, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and presentation we received.
She met with us personally for a complimentary tasting prior to our wedding, and she completely brought our vision to life exactly as we asked — honestly even better than we imagined. If you’re considering them for your wedding or event, don’t hesitate. Worth every penny and more. She’s the best!!!! -

Kate Soiree was so easy to work with and made our wedding day special. We got to try macarons and cakes prior to our wedding day, and it was easy for us to pick them up on our own time! While working with them was easy, their desserts were the best! They were beautiful and delicious! Since we have had their macarons, we can not get enough of them and keep going back all the time just for a nice treat. -

KATE!!!! I cannot say enough good things about her and her team! As an avid baker myself, her creativity and flavors are outstanding! We met Kate at a Wed KC expo and the moment we tried her cupcakes, we knew that this was our cake and dessert vendor. I remember our tasting as my favorite day of wedding planning! Kate was helping set up her desserts while the ceremony was starting and we needed someone to open the doors for my dad and I to walk down the aisle. She stopped what she was doing, hyped me up, and opened the doors for us. She is such a beautiful human and a badass bakery owner! We stop in once in a while for a sweet treat. What an awesome vendor, WE LOVE YOU!!! -

I absolutely loved working with Kate Smith Soirée for our wedding cake! From start to finish, she made the process so easy and fun. Her company is incredibly organized, well-priced, and she truly goes above and beyond. We chose a custom heart-shaped cake for our wedding, and it turned out even better than we imagined—it was stunning and delicious. The cake tasting was such a fun experience, and all of her flavors are both unique and incredibly tasty. Kate Smith Soiree is my favourite bakery, you can find me there weekly for a coffee and chocolate croissant. I knew I had to get my wedding cake from them too! Kate worked with me on a weirdly specific request I needed and made it an easy process. The cake was so tasty too! We also got a small macaroon tower which all the guests loved. The food is all so delicious and Kate is so lovely. Everyone should go check them out!! -

I can't recommend Kate Smith Soiree enough. Kate and her entire time are fantastic. We asked her to create a variety of different desserts for our wedding including our cake, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our first meeting, to our tasting, and the day of, she made the whole process so easy and fun. When our venue said certain desserts needed to be made in house, Kate easily updated our invoice for us and best of all, she even surprised me with the macarons from our original order on the day - personally packaged for us to take home and enjoy. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, and she has customers for life in us. Our guests are still talking about how good everything was! -

Lyon Wedding
Kate did such an amazing job with our wedding desserts. We had an amazing experience tasting all of the fabulous desserts and choosing what we wanted on our special day. She executed our wedding cake just as I imagined and went above and beyond to even set them up for us. She even helped when it started to down pour, moving all of my wedding decor inside the venue. She is truly the best with the most beautiful and delicious desserts! ☺️

Working with Kate Smith was super easy and the desserts were fantastic at my wife's and I's wedding reception.
The whole planning process was very straightforward and easy to follow.
And the desserts were amazing.
We thought we bought enough that we'd have some leftovers but every single cupcake, brownie, cookie and macaroon was eaten so literally the day after our wedding, we came back in to return some equipment and bought ourselves a nice haul of sweets. They're just that good.
Seriously, I can't say enough good things about Kate Smith Soiree. She's earned life long customers with us!

The BEST dessert bar!
Kate Smith Soiree provided our wedding guests with the best dessert bar we could have imagined. Neither my husband nor I are “cake people” so we opted for the non-traditional route of a macaroon tower. Kate helped us select the layout and color scheme once we picked our flavors of choice. We chose to do a macaroon tower, accompanied by cake pops, cookies, and cupcakes. EVERYTHING was delicious, Kate is a phenomenal baker and deserves all the recognition. We live in Washington DC, but wished we lived closer so we could go to the bakery more often! Kate is communicative, and her prices are reasonable. -

Kate was AMAZING to work with. We moved up our wedding date by a year and she squeezed us in. I could never express how grateful we are to take for everything she did for us. And the cake was absolutely to DIE for!!!! We got endless compliments on the cake. Our first reaction after the cake cutting was "wow! This is the best cake I've ever had". We did a white almond cake with strawberry filling. We also did rose petal and chocolate macarons. The rose petal were absolutely delicious and the chocolate was phenomenal!! -

We booked Kate Smith for our wedding cake and desserts and we cannot recommend her enough! While we knew we only wanted a small cutting cake, we also booked Kate Smith Soiree to provide macarons, cookie bars, mini tarts, and cupcakes for our event. Our guests raved about the taste, but the desserts were also gorgeous to look at! Guests especially liked how portable KSS desserts were - perfect for keeping the party going on the dance floor. During the booking process, Kate was a dream to work with. She was extremely responsive, sent accurate invoices on time, had a very organized and approachable tasting, and even provided dessert stands and signage for our event. We definitely recommend her for couples who are looking to book her for their wedding!

My husband and I got married almost 6 months ago and I still have family members speaking about how delicious and beautiful our dessert table was! Not only was is aestetically pleasing, but it was also scrumptous. The macroon tower was the first to go- no surprise there. The mini cupcakes were a HIT! Everything could not have been more perfect. Kate was so incredibly sweet, super responsive, and so kind! She helped every step of the way and answered all my questions. I could not recommend that you choose Kate for your wedding enough!! 13/10!!!!!! -

Amazing and delicious!!
My husband and I aren’t huge cake people, so we were looking for a wedding dessert that felt more like “us”. Kate’s assortment of mini desserts provided the perfect solution: cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and macrons! Not only was everything unbelievably delicious, our guests were (and still are) RAVING about it, but it was absolutely gorgeous as well! I have only one regret: I was so busy the day of I totally forgot to get dessert. Thankfully, Kate is so wonderful and thoughtful she gifted us a huge box of the macrons to enjoy post-wedding! She was so great to work with and delivers an AMAZING product, I would highly recommend her desserts for any occasion. Just schedule a tasting with her and your decision will be made! -

Kate was beyond incredible to work with! She was extremely detail oriented as we were choosing the desserts and designing the displays. When I got to the venue, I could not have asked for a more beautiful cake atop the macaroon tower. My guests are all still asking where they can get these macaroons after the wedding. All the other desserts exceeded every expectation I had. I will certainly be going back for more whiskey ganache brownies! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something different and beautiful! -

The best EVER
Dessert was one of the most important things at our wedding. Kate Smith Soirée offers so many options for desserts and so many unique flavors. The presentation was amazing and they even offered rentals to make the spread look divine. I got so many compliments from wedding guests on not only presentation but the flavors as well. We had a macron tower with a small cake on top, brownie bites, cookie bites, several flavors of mini cupcakes, and chocolate covered strawberries. They even had a lot of seasonal flavors which paired perfectly with our Fall wedding (pumpkin spice cupcakes, s'mores and apple pie macarons, and salted caramel brownie bites). I dream of these desserts to this day and loved it so much we are having them cater our holiday party as well! Cannot recommend this amazing woman-owned small business enough! -

Our macaron tower that Kate Smith did was absolutely amazing. It looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Our main dessert was an ice cream truck but we wanted some treats for inside the venue and had a cookie table and with Covid delaying our wedding a year we decided to add a green ombre macaron tower and it was a perfect addition. Loved working with Kate, she communicated well and was great value for money. -

If you’re looking for a unique show stopper cake I highly recommend Kate Smith Soire. Everyone loved the macaroons and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Our new favorite dessert is a macaroon and will be ordering them for our anniversary every year! -

We love Kate Smith Soiree!!
My husband and I were look for a unique/modern way to offer desserts at our wedding, and Kate Smith Soiree delivered! Her team of talented bakers created the most fabulous (and delicious!) dessert bar for my guests. Not to mention the most beautiful burnt orange ombre French macaron tower with a cake topper that we had as our wedding cake. Kate is a creative, well-established, and well-respected vendor in the greater Kansas City area. I promise you will not be disappointed! She will work with you to deliver your vision for your big day. I am also so grateful to have chosen her as a vendor because I was a COVID bride and not only did I have to reschedule my wedding, but she was so accommodating as my guest count constantly fluctuated due to restrictions. I look forward to working with Kate again on many future events! -

Kate did such an amazing job accomplishing the vision we had!
Her bakery is located next to where I live and we thought it would be wise to support small businesses for our wedding as much as possible after the pandemic. WE knew we wanted donuts and a small cake for him and I, and WOW, we were blown away. When we did the tasting, every flavor was so amazing. Each donut is extremely flavorful and so pretty. The blueberry donut is out of this world. We ended up doing three donut flavors (blueberry, buttermilk and vanilla iced) , three cupcake flavors (cookie dough, red velvet and vanilla cake) and a naked vanilla cake for our small cake. It was so beautiful. Our wedding guests are still raving about how yummy they were! I would recommend Kate to everyone! She has a gift! -

My husband and I both absolutely love macarons, so we were beyond excited to stumble upon Kate and her adorable shop at the Lenexa Public Market! We were immediately interested in the macarons (HUGE selection of flavors and seasonal rotators!) - but also super impressed by the variety she provides through other treat options. Kate puts such a personal touch on every cake, cookie, cake pop, muffin, macaron, you name it! And they all taste just as wonderful as they look (no.. seriously)!
If you want great communication from start to finish, insanely wide flavor and treat variety at an affordable cost, and someone who does the very most to match the aesthetic vision for your big day.. Kate and her team are your folks! Can’t recommend them enough :) -

Kate was so wonderful to work with! She made macaroons, cake and donuts for our wedding and people STILL talk about them! They were so yummy, and she packed a little box for us to take home, in case we didn't get to eat dessert at our wedding. Not only are Kate's desserts absolutely gorgeous, but also super tasty! We had booked Kate for our wedding on 9/25, and had to change plans due to Covid and ended up having an intimate wedding in CO the first week of October. She handled all of the communications effortlessly and was able to accommodate the changes with no issue. Our dessert display was absolutely beautiful, even though the mini cake had some issues in transit we had plenty to work with to ensure everything looked great. We had leftovers for our entire honeymoon as well! -

Our wedding was almost 3 months ago and I am STILL getting compliments on the Macarons that Kate made for our alternative wedding dessert. I truly could not recommend her enough! She did the ombré macaron tower with cake topper and also individually wrapped Macarons to put on the tables for edible, beautiful centerpieces. She was a vendor I knew I HAD to work with and one of the things I was most excited about for our day. Kate is so sweet and easy to work with. She really goes above and beyond to make everything perfect and exactly how you want. She is incredibly creative and has excellent ideas. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, she was extremely accommodating and helped to make our new date work. Every time I am near her shop, I have to stop to get my macaron fix. You absolutely have to try them. Kate was fantastic throughout the entire process! We were pretty positive that we were going to go with her before our tasting based on the reviews and photos of her work that we had seen, but we were definitely sold after the tasting. The flavors and bake on all of her sweets were amazing! We went with the macaron tower, brownies and cake pops and Kate made the most gorgeous display, it was everything I had imagined! My photographer even mentioned that it was the most beautiful dessert table spread that she had ever seen, and I couldn't agree more! If you're looking for something a little less traditional than a big tiered cake, but still incredibly classic and gorgeous, I would ABSOUTELY recommend that you consider Kate Smith Soiree for your wedding or any event. I will definitely be recommending her personally to all of my engaged friends as well as searching for an excuse for another macaron tower ASAP! -

As soon as our wedding planning began, I knew that we HAD to have a macaroon tower included in our big day! The towers that Kate creates are unlike any other, and they taste as amazing as they look!! Booking with her was such a seamless process, and she was sure to completely understand my vision before beginning to work her magic! I knew what she came up with would be beautiful and delicious, but she blew me away with what she came up with! It matched our wedding perfectly, and I can't wait to use Kate for many more events to come!! -

Working with Kate was a wonderful experience. We saw one of her styled shoots on Instagram last year and approached her about macarons and a cake for our wedding. Kate met with us, provided us with a free macaron taste-testing, and walked us through flavors and color options before we signed our contract. We went with her signature macaron tower and six-inch cutting cake, and were not disappointed -- her macarons were a total hit with our guests, and many asked where we’d gotten them from. Our chocolate 6-inch cutting cake was also delicious, and the frosting finish was flawlessly smooth.
She had a generous delivery policy and delivered/set up our tower for a small fee. She also provided free-of-charge signage, so guests would know what flavors the macarons were (they were colored various shades of sage green to match our wedding colors).
Kate is super pleasant and friendly, and makes incredible desserts. I’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat! -

I wanted something different than a traditional wedding cake, so I reached out to Kate in the hopes she could create a custom donut tower with a cutting cake on top. Let me tell you, the magic she showed up with on my wedding day was just incredible, and it tasted as good as it looked. I got more compliments than I can count. Kate was so relaxed and easygoing and fun to work with, which meant so much to me (being a Covid bride). I wish I could give her more than five stars. Do yourself a favor and hire Kate to handle your wedding treats! -

Amazing! Wow factor!
Kate was amazing to work with! She was professional and fun, and always responded quickly to any questions we had. The macaroon tower she made for us was definitely the “WOW Factor” at our wedding and I received countless compliments about it! Everyone loved the macaroons and the different flavors. These desserts were truly flawless! We had a macaron tower and mini cupcakes. We were able to mix and match so we had so many flavors and the ombre effect that Kate does with these macarons is unbelievable! I'm convinced she can do anything! The color was seriously flawless- an exact match to our wedding colors. And the FLAVOR. We have zero complaints, only compliments. She was great to work with, and the desserts were to unique and flavorful! Our guests were 'wowed' by the macaron tower- as most people haven't had something like this at their wedding, so we enjoyed introducing it to them! 10/10 would recommend!! -
