I'm so glad Kalani did my makeup and hair for my wedding! She was such a sweet person and was just generally fun to have around the morning of the wedding! When I went in for my trial, I showed her a couple pictures of updos that I liked and she was able to combine both of them for a lovely hairstyle. I was scared my thin hair wouldn't hold but somehow she worked her magic and it lasted the whole night! My bridesmaids and mom were also very pleased with their hair. My makeup ended up looking great as well, natural just like I asked for. Her prices are reasonable compared to some of the outrageous prices out there for bridal hair and makeup, and I highly recommend her to any brides who want to look beautiful on their special day! (In other words, all brides)

I booked Kalani and her team for my July wedding.

Prior to the wedding, I was indecisive and didn't really know what I wanted. I don't think I look good all made up, strange I know. Each time I showed Kalani a picture, she was able to do it perfectly. When I left her salon (I had 2 separate hair trials), I changed my mind and didn't like it anymore. See, I'm indecisive. When it came to the day of my wedding, I still didn't know what I wanted and was a little worried actually really worried. I wasn't worried that Kalani couldn't do her job, I was worried that I didn't even know what I wanted!

Fast forward to the wedding day, her team (her + 2 assistants) arrived on time and ready to work. When it was finally my turn, she showed me a couple pictures and with the aid of one of my BM who made decisions for me, she was able to transform me into a beautiful bride. I was so impressed and happy with her and her team. All she heard from me was I don't like this, that, this, that and she didn't get annoyed at all. In fact, she was able to complete my whole look in less than an hour and a half. On top of that, my bridesmaids looked so gorgeous!

It took them about 4 hrs to do 4 BMs and 1 bride and another 3 hours to do 2 mothers, grandma, flowergirl, 1 aunt and one friend. There were a couple last minute additions and she was able to do it without making a fuss about it, sorry Kalani, i didn't know!

During this time, we were taking bridal party photos at another location, the wind blew so hard that a couple of pins fell off (i asked her to put the pins loosely) in the back. My BM contacted her to see if she could fix it. Her and her team left and were already on the freeway, but they came back, tools in hand to fix it this time not loosely.

Thank you Kalani for doing such an awesome job, guests were telling me that I was beautiful the whole entire evening and my makeup stayed on for 10 hours even in the sweltering San Ramon heat.

btw, she's very reasonably priced and will work with you. She even includes a free blowout the day before your event. It helped my hair a lot the day of.
