"Breaking the Mold"

Hi, This is Justin of Justin Flood Photography. Let me tell you a little bit about how I got started.

I'm a long time graphic artist and fashion/glamour photographer. Over the years, I've developed a very different and compelling style to my work. A style that has received acclaim from my clients as well as competing photographers and artists.

When I got engaged to my fiancee on Christmas of 2008, I began looking for someone to capture our wedding in photos and video. Very quickly I learned that the Long Island Wedding Photographer scene was awash with people who haven't changed what they've been doing since they started in 1970. There were VERY few people even willing to discuss my ideas for doing something a little bit different from the norm.

I wanted my wedding to represent ME. Not someone else's preconceived notion of what a wedding photo should look like.

Eventually I realized that there are probably a lot of people out there just like myself, and they are getting an end product from other people that they just aren't happy with.

I figured, even though I had little experience in the field of events and weddings, that I could make my mark by doing it differently, leveraging new technologies, making original and daring imagery, and generally "Breaking the Mold".
