Gary has closed his shop, but is still doing cakes out of his home. His number is 816-591-2995. He is very talented and creative and can do anything your heart desires. His prices are great and it includes set up and transport. I did wedding cupcakes and they turned out prettier than the picture I gave him and tasted fabulous. We got so many compliments on our cupcakes....he is truly amazing!

Our cake was BEAUTIFUL! We were working on a budget and first went to local grocery stores to discuss cake options. Their cakes were good but they were just cakes. We found Gary in a local bridal guide and we're so glad we did! He was able to make us a three tier cake with two different types of filling and his price was comparable/slightly less than the local grocery stores quoted! Our cake served 95 people. All of his cakes, frostings, fillings, etc are made by hand instead of coming out of a 5 gallon bucket like so many grocery stores use. Many guests were very complimentary in regards to our cake. We chose a marble cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry mousse filling, covered in an ivory butter cream frosting. Oh My Gosh! It was divine! I highly recommend Gary for beautiful cakes that taste twice as good as they look! His prices are excellent and he's very creative. He does more than just wedding cakes so I will be using Gary in the future for Birthdays and other occasions.

Overall, I was very pleased with our wedding cake. It tasted and looked great. I guess it wasn't perfect, but pretty close. I would recommend Just Desserts to others. Very competitive pricing for a quality product.

The chocolate cake was delicious and I guess that's what matters overall. However, we found this vendor to be difficult to work with. He was somewhat unprofessional in our first meeting, wanting to argue over details of the reception venue. He really wanted to put ribbons and flowers on my cake, though I wanted something plain and simple. Go in with your ideas and stand firm.
