Barb at Alterations Unlimited in Kirkwood, MO completely made my wedding dreams come true. I brought her my one of a kind dream dress and needed it to be altered for me wedding. She knew exactly what to do to fit it perfectly to my body. This dress was seriously one of a kind, so I was
nervous to hand it over to just anyone. Thank God my mom knew about Barb and her shop Alterations Unlimited in Kirkwood, MO. My wedding and dress where just perfect! Since then I have brought every little to big job to them. They are all incredible seamstresses. I have told EVERYONE how amazing they are. VERY BEST in all of the midwest. Trust me!

Alterations Unlimited is also a part of Kirkwood Bridal Boutique and they are both AMAZING! They made my wedding dress hunt the easiest thing of the entire wedding planning process. Barb was fantastic to work with and the dress turned out better than expected. I would highly suggest checking out Kirkwood Bridal Boutique/Alterations Unlimited. Friendly and experienced staff. They were super flexible too since I was an out of town bride.

I ended up losing 25 pounds after buying my wedding dress so I had to have pretty much all of it altered. I took it to her probably 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding. The owner was so helpful and made sure it was ready for the big day. At my final fitting she gave me a big hug and wished us the best of luck in our marriage. She was so amazing!

Barb was an excellent seamstress. She made a lot of alterations to my dress. Above and beyond, hemming it, taking it in, and creating a gorgeous French bustle, she also made lace cap sleeves that matched the dress and added in bra cups. She did an awesome job. There were a few snafus with scheduling a few times, which were just an inconvenience (no permanent harm done), but other than that, I'd highly recommend her.

She was also really pleasant to work with. She reminisced with us about her daughter's wedding, and made all those fittings a lot better. We laughed and had a good time with her, so not only do I have a gorgeous dress, but I have some fun memories of getting the dress altered too!

Very poor service for the price, very unprofessional in service and communication. Literally yelled at a bride! Unwilling to fix mistake in seams, forgetful, did not take notes or measurements. Not recommended.
