I was stressing out because my husband and I did not want to have a religious ceremony since I'm Jewish and he is Lutheran. We wanted to find someone neutral. My mom heard great things about Judge Henry Sibbings in Lake Genenva, so 4 months before the wedding, we met with him at the Grand Geneva Resort. My family and I all were SO happy we found him - we all spoke with him for over an hour that day at the Grand Geneva like he was a part of the family! And it turns out he also married our wedding planner a few years back! He kept me totally cool and calm at both the rehearsal and at the wedding! The way a bride should always feel. :) Judge Sibbings was very responsive to all of our requests and let us add things to the ceremony that made the day special for us. He made all our guests laugh, feel relaxed and enjoy the ceremony! Most importantly, he made the day so special for me and my husband. We're so lucky we had such a great officiant and will ALWAYS recommend Judge Henry Sibbings to anyone who needs an officiant for their big day! Thanks again Judge Sibbings! He did a great job when it came to the ceremony. We didn't have any issues with that. However he did not come to the rehearsal so we did that by ourselves. He said that he didn't need to because he had done over 800 weddings. He also did not let us read our own vows that we had written up because he needed a copy ahead of time which we were never informed of. If you are looking for someone that will do a good job ON your day and cheap, he is great.
