The cake and cupcakes were SO delicious - oh my goodness! Literally, just melted in our mouths - best we have EVER had! We received MANY compliments (one of my sister-in-laws wondered if you'd share your recipe! One of her daughters just got engaged). Loved the way the cupcakes were displayed - absolutely stunning! Stephanie was a pure joy to work with! I live 2 hours away from the town we got married in so emails, phone calls, and texting were critical throughout my wedding planning. Stephanie was so easy to work with and took my vision and brought it to life so beautifully. In lieu of a traditional wedding cake my fiance and I wanted a dessert table with miniature cakes of varying flavors. Stephanie's attention to detail and level of organization was impeccable, not to mention her cakes tasted AMAZING! We were concerned about having a dry cake, but after our cake tasting we knew that she was the one as all of the flavors were so moist and delicious! As a treat she makes all of her couples a tiny cake on your one year anniversary which is so sweet! I highly recommend Joyful Times Bakery and will choose them for every event we have!!

Joyful Times Bakery did an excellent job catering the wedding cake for our wedding. We chose a simple white wedding cake with a rustic wooden stump to serve it on. Upon arrival at our venue, Stephanie decorated the cake with an arrangement of flowers left from out florist. It was such a beautiful and elegant cake and it tasted delicious! We decided not to save the top of our cake for our one year anniversary. However, they offered to make us a small one for our one year anniversary that was fresh!! I highly recommend Joyful Times Bakery to anyone in the area. Their customers are treated with love and care!

Our wedding was unique in that it was entirely planned and orchestrated by me - the Groom. I wasn't working at the time, so I convinced my (now wife) to let me take on the wedding as a project to keep myself busy. I have significant experience in project management so she reluctantly turned the whole thing over to me. I approached identifying wedding vendors like a business transaction. I sought value, service, professionalism, and responsiveness, and Joyful Times Bakery excelled in every category.

We had approximately 100 guests, and I we ordered 150 cupcakes (in 3 different flavors, with unique decorations) and a small 8" round cake for us to ceremonially cut. Our package also came with a free 1 year anniversary cake - very much looking forward to that!!

Quality of Service
For no extra charge, Stephanie delivered the cupcakes to our venue, offered her own cupcake stand, and set them up beautifully. Prior to that, she voluntarily brought us a sampling of various cakes and icings to help us decide what cakes to choose, and at my request she "mocked up" the final cupcakes with decor so we knew exactly what we would be getting on our wedding day.

Responsiveness
Stephanie was available by phone and email and we communicated several times. I never once felt like she took too long to respond.

Professionalism
Stephanie came to our planning sessions with a notebook in hand and she walked us through the myriad of decisions like a pro. Afterwards, she followed up with an email confirming our choices.

Value
Stephanie offered the best value, by FAR. I think this is the category in which she impressed me the most. Not only were her prices lower than many of her competitors, but she offered SO MUCH MORE. Her price was all-inclusive, no "upgrade" options. She decorated the cakes however we wanted, and we chose 3 different designs which she did exceedingly well, including hand-made chocolate heart outlines!

You can't go wrong with Joyful Times!!

We used Joyful Times Bakery to make our daughter and son in laws wedding cake. We met with the owner, Stephanie, and were provided samples of different flavors to help in our decision for the flavors of the cake. She made a four tier wedding cake. We chose a pink lemonade flavor with a cream filling for two layers, red velvet and vanilla for the other two layers. We were hesitant to ask her to make the cake due to all of the detail. When she saw the picture she was very receptive and excited to make this cake for us. The cake looked like small trunks stacked on top of each other and were placed on top of a real trunk that was covered with a lace runner. She also made cupcakes in the same flavors. She was so willing to offer input and advice on displaying the cupcakes. Stephanie met us a few weeks before the wedding at the location for the reception and she also wanted to see the trunk and runner to be sure everything would work together. We gave her a picture of the cake we wanted and could not have been happier at the outcome. The cake looked just like the picture she was given. We received so many compliments on the cake and cupcakes from our family and wedding guests. The cake and cupcakes were beautiful, delicious, moist and flavorful. We would not hesitate to recommend her to others or to use her services again. Actually, we have used her again for a retirement dinner and a bridal shower.Once again, we had the same great experience and service. We were asked many times who made the desserts. Stephanie was very easy to work with, returning all calls in a timely manner. Even though she had many events on the same day, she made us feel like we were her only customers. We felt her prices were very reasonable and affordable. We would highly recommend this bakery.

I was impressed with the manner of communication with the owner. She was friendly and very helpful. The website is well put together; only there is no cake batter flavor "Buttercream" as listed on the webpage. Only the icing is "butter cream".

We were very satisfied with the taste of the cake. It was so delicious, I was caught several times throughout the evening sneaking off to enjoy a bite!

I was disappointed in the appearance of the cake. I provided a picture and was assured by the owner, that the cake would look exactly like the photograph we provided. Judging from the photos listed on the webpage; I wholeheartedly believed that it would look EXACTLY like the photo we provided. Had I thought that the bakery was incapable of replicating the cake, I would have provided another example. However, I was very disappointed to discover, as we walked into the ballroom, that the cake looked nothing like the photograph. I also was a little shocked to find that there were coconut shavings in the icing. Something we had not requested...

Overall, the cake was delicious! We ordered a three tiered cake with the top and bottom layers being white cake and the middle being strawberry and Buttercream icing throughout.
