Joy was the absolute best choice we could have made for our engagement and wedding photos. She has so much knowledge and experience on photo shoots that she made me and my husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her professionalism and promptness is honestly impressive. Our wedding photos came out amazing, we still look at them all the time. We recently had a baby and even asked Joy to do family photos for us which was a full circle moment for sure. Three cheers for Joy!
If you're looking for a photographer, go with Joy. Neither my husband nor I are comfortable being the center of attention, nor are we comfortable being in front of the camera, and Joy made both of these things non-issues. She put us at ease instantly. Actually, I started to get overwhelmed just before the ceremony, and her calming presence helped me to pull it back together. She was like my guardian angel on the day. Her work is impressive, as is her professionalism. Seriously, go with her!

Great Wedding Photographer
Joyelan photography was one of the first vendors we chose for our wedding day. We met with 3 other photographers in the area and we decided to use Joyelan because of her easy going attitude and beautiful work. Joy was very helpful with our timeline and even gave me (the bride) tips for my getting ready photos. Joy and her assistant were on time and made sure to check in with us at our wedding. The delivery was a little over a month and she kept in touch during the process.

Our pictures are amazing!
We love working with Joy! We first met when she was the photographer for a friend and we really enjoyed how well she did with their wedding. We were so happy she was available for ours! She helped me so much during the planning and was very easy to get in touch with. I can't pick one photo that is my favorite she really captured every moment! I really think she was one of our best decisions on our wedding day!

A great photographer and person!
We did research and we wanted a team that caught more of the natural moments. We decided on Joyelan Photography with her second photographer.
The photos of the details were great and everyone felt so comfortable! There were so many fun photos of our guests it was hard to choose which ones we liked the most.
Truly a professional, moving ease and capturing way more pictures than we knew. We highly recommend Joyelan Photography if you want to capture your event with the fun and class it deserves!

Really amazing photographer
Joy was amazing to work with! She walked us through the process from beginning to end. She communicated every step of the way and even sent us some great previews of our pictures after the wedding. We got our photo package about 5 weeks after and it was beautiful! I can't say how much I enjoyed working with her and we will be contacting her again when we have our first baby! Thank you Joy!

My husband and I loved working with Joy on our wedding day. She made the process super easy, from my first phone call with her to our first meeting over coffee, I felt completely at ease with her! She made taking shots on our hot and humid Dunedin July wedding day such a breeze. And then she took sunset shots of us, which I can't wait to see!
We just got married, so I don't have all the pics yet, but just the one shot I've seen is fantastic and can't wait to get it framed and see the rest. Hire Joy--you won't be disappointed and will love working with her!
