Experience

Lead performer of Joyce Spencer Music, Joyce Spencer, has an extensive background in musical education with a degree in Instrumental Music Education, as well as having studied and mastered both the classical and jazz saxophone and flute. Joyce has received a variety of awards and nominations throughout her career including Black Women in Jazz Female Saxophonist of the Year and ASCAPLUS Awards Panel Recognition, grammy recognition among many others. Joyce has released a total of three albums, including her critically acclaimed ‘Many Colours’ which included both cover songs and Joyce’s original music creations.

For smaller parties or venues, this band can provide musical support with electronic backing tracks for a solo and/or duo act to round out the musical experience so you don’t miss a beat.
