Jofrey Rabanal was an amazing officiant. Made us feel right at home! Super charismatic and funny but also a professional. Made our ceremony so special!

Reverend Jofrey Rabanal was everything we could have wished for! We are so pleased that he officiated our destination wedding ceremony. He was recommended to me by my wedding planner at a reasonable price.
Upon hiring him, he asked if it was a religious or non-denominational ceremony and than he provided us his officiant script outline. You have the option to add, remove, or keep the messages on the script. We just added our own personal vows.
The first time we met him was at rehearsal (the day before wedding). He made rehearsal practice funny, and made sure we practiced the steps until we got it.
On wedding day, I liked that Jofrey blows a conch shell to symbolize that the ceremony is about to begin. I also liked the Hawaiian outfit he wore. These gives a little touch introducing the Hawaiian culture to our guests being that I'm Filipino and my husband is Chinese. During ceremony, Jofrey's speech and words of advice were personable, genuine, thoughtful, sentimental, and funny. It felt like he already knew us as a couple. I like that he added humor into it. You can tell he comes from experience.
Jofrey gave us a memorable wedding ceremony. We enjoyed his humor, but most importantly the message of love he bestowed upon us. I HIGHLY recommend him! Mahalo Jofrey!

Pastor Jofrey Rabanal was everything I wanted in a minster, and MORE. Everything that he said during the ceremony felt like he meant it just for us. It didn't feel generic at all. He was very sincere, but also very funny. His words felt very natural, and not like it was practiced over and over.

All of our guests raved of how amazing he was. I highly recommend him to anyone who gets married on Oahu.

Very flexible and professional

We wanted to incorporate some of elements from our Filipino culture. We wanted someone who was familiar with our culture. Luckily, our wedding planner came across Jofrey. Jofrey was reasonably priced compared to some other officiants that we got information on. A plus for Jofrey was that he was familiar with our culture, and his pricing also included rehearsal!

Jofrey was super flexible and easy to work with. He wasn't super responsive via e-mail, but he was awesome via regular mail and when you get him on the phone. He really worked with us to create a ceremony that we included personalized information and elements. We also wrote our own vows. It wasn't a typical scripted ceremony that he uses on every single client. I personally wrote out the script and sent it to him to review and read before the wedding.

He is also super personable! He has a really loud voice. This was helpful for our rehearsal because everyone listened to him, and followed his instructions. We were able to go through the ceremony 2x walkthrough before the big day. That helped even though the nerves kicked in the day of the wedding and we totally forgot the order when my parents gave me away! Nevertheless, our friends and family have commented on beautiful our ceremony was, and how it was one of the best ones they have gone to because it was different. We thank Jofrey for allowing us to incorporate our creativity and our cultural elements as well, along with the Hawaii spirit!
