Joanna has been amazing to work with during our wedding process. When we first met her to go over our vision, she took a lot of time to make sure we would get what we were looking for. The day of the wedding she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and did a great job at engaging our guests for photos. She is such an easy person to work with and a true master of her craft. And of course our photos turned out gorgeous! I would highly recommend Joanna!

Joanna shot our wedding earlier this year, and the pictures are outstanding! Joanna is not only a great photographer; she is a great stage manager, too! Throughout the wedding day, she scheduled the proper amount of time for the photos we requested, including those with our wedding party and families. Joanna and her assistant were both efficient and personable. They kept things moving, while also keeping the mood light and helping us and our wedding party feel comfortable. We got all the photos we wanted and didn’t feel like we missed out on our reception at all.

Working with Joanna has been delightful! When we met her during the Snohomish wedding tour we immediately felt comfortable with her and knew we wanted her to be a part of our wedding. My partner and I went into engagement photos feeling nervous and unsure of what to expect. Joanna helped us loosen up with jokes and guidance. She made the session fun and we were able to enjoy the experience. On our wedding day we had Joanna and her assistant Laura. They both went above and beyond to ensure all the photos we wanted were taken and that we were able to thoroughly enjoy our day. It did not feel like we were stuck posing for formal photos for hours even though that’s what it basically was.

My family and I loved working with Joanna! She was very communicative, professional, and efficient. The photos turned out so much better than I could have imagined, and she made the process fun too! Grateful we found Joanna, and highly recommend working with her.

Joanna was the photographer we hired to do both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Our experience working with her was simply amazing! Joanna was hands down the easiest and most delightful vendor we worked with throughout the wedding planning process and during the event itself. She was great at putting us (not the most comfortable with photos) at ease. She regularly checked in and offered up help as the wedding date approached. And our pictures turned out amazingly well. We booked Joanna for our wedding, and she has been nothing but wonderful!

We started by having a consultation session with her. We planned everything by ourselves, and had no idea where to start at the time. Talking with Joanna was extremely helpful, and she gave us many great recommendations for other vendors.

We felt very comfortable having her on the wedding day. We’ve never gotten couple’s photos taken professionally, and she made us feel at ease in front of the camera. She is great at giving posing suggestions and finding beautiful spots around our venue(Belle Chapel). Due to road closure, plenty of the guests were late. We are very grateful that she went out of her way and stayed behind for an additional half an hour to take all the group photos we’d like. She even helped setup tripod with our own camera for recording.

We received our photos three weeks after the wedding. We love every single one of them. They are so genuine and full of love and joy. Having Joanna is one of the best decisions we’ve made for our wedding, and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We absolutely loved working with Joanna! From our first meeting at her cozy studio she was fun, easy to talk to, and made us feel totally comfortable. We generally loved chatting and getting to know her and she was meticulous throughout the planning process about our timeline (giving initial recommendations and working with our coordinator directly to refine) and noting what people groupings and types of photos we wanted. At our wedding, Joanna and her assistant were so fun (it felt like having another friend there) and they had our entire wedding party and families relaxed and enjoying themselves (which made for great pictures!). They were also seemingly everywhere at once! We got our beautiful photos back faster than expected and they exceeded my expectations for full coverage of the event: lots of both candids and posed, as well as tons of detail/décor/venue photos that we didn’t think to take ourselves. We also loved doing the in-person gallery reveal at Joanna’s studio – it was so fun getting to relive the event and to see (and hear the story of) some of our guest’s candid moments we missed in real time. We cannot recommend Joanna enough!

I highly recommend Joanna. She captured our wedding PERFECTLY, and in every way I envisioned. She asked us what we wanted, made us laugh and feel so comfortable throughout, it was like having a close friend helping us who I could joke with along the way. I asked her to take a ridiculous photo of my two best friends and I, which made no sense to her yet she did not hesitate and captured exactly what we wanted. Could not have asked for a better experience!

We hired Joanna to photograph our recent wedding- best decision ever. The photos turned out just stunning!! She is not only incredibly skilled in photography, but also the exact kind of person you want to work with for such an important day! We met with her at her studio before signing our contract to hire her and chatted for two hours drinking tea and beer (my husband lol) and she took us through every step of the process, but more than anything it felt like chatting with a great friend and just having fun! When she had finished editing our photos only about a month after the wedding she had us back over to her studio for a similar meeting. She showed us our photos and a beautiful slideshow she created on a huge screen and it was seriously almost as exciting as the actual wedding day. Her attention to detail combined with her extremely kind and outgoing personality made her the perfect person to photograph our wedding! Even her assistant at the wedding was amazing. Neither my husband or I like to be in pictures and both consider ourselves pretty unphotogenic but somehow Joanna actually made the wedding photos such a fun process and we both felt so comfortable. One of our flower girls was feeling a bit uncooperative during the photos and that’s when we learned that Joanna’s also a child whisperer and made the little ones feel so comfortable right away! We never had to worry for even a second about anything related to the photos during the entire planning process- and she’s super communicative always! Joanna’s truly just the kind of person you want to be around. She really helped ease my general stress during the day of- I feel so lucky to have been able to work with her for my special day.

Joanna was an absolute delight to work with for our engagement shoot, our wedding day, and everything in between. She is so welcoming and positive and exactly the kind of person you want around on your big day. She is very thorough with preparation so you know you are in good hands but she's also very flexible and can adjust on the fly when things inevitably change on your big day. Joanna is super communicative and answered every one of our questions quickly and completely. Her second shooter, Christine, was fantastic as well. Our family and friends commented multiple times on how delightful and efficient Joanna and her team were to work with. We are seriously obsessed with how our images came out, Joanna did an amazing job of capturing the typical couples photos and family portraits as well as ample candids of us and our guests all throughout the day. She also did an amazing job using all areas of our venue so we ended with an incredible variety of shots that we cannot wait to cherish forever. The in studio reveal was also such a special moment for us! We cannot recommend working with Joanna highly enough!
