We hired Jessica Castro for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah, and we couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience! From start to finish, Jessica was professional, responsive, and punctual. She was a fantastic communicator and made sure everything went smoothly. What truly impressed us was her proactive approach—she didn’t miss a beat, taking a ton of photos and making sure to capture every guest in the room.

Although we didn’t have much time for family photos, Jessica worked quickly and efficiently, getting a variety of beautiful poses and shots in a short amount of time. When we received the final photos, we were blown away—not only were they gorgeous with perfect lighting, but she truly captured the essence of the event. Her warm personality made her an absolute pleasure to work with, and we feel so lucky to have had her document such a special day. She captured beautiful details of the natural scenery of Joshua Tree as well as the details of our reception, and great shots of all of our guests. Many guest also complimented that she was wonderful! The couples shot with her were also fun and natural. We met jessica through our wedding planner and eventually parted with our wedding planner but stuck with Jessica and she was really professional about it. My husband and I were both really awkward about taking photos and she made it feel really relaxed and the photos turned out beautifully. We looked like naturals. She really vibed with our weird family dynamics and accommodated everyone. We continue to use her for family photos to this day.

We are so thankful we had Jessica as our photographer! We had to cancel our wedding a couple times due to COVID and then had a last minute venue change! Jessica was excellent at replying and communicating with all the changes that were happening. She did an amazing job capturing precious moments throughout the wedding day and evening.

A wedding is stressful. Things don't always go according to plan (like me, the groom, forgetting the rings in the car!) and you just got to roll with the punches. Jessica was such a great photographer, we knew we were well taken care of for the photos and it was one less thing for us to stress about. She rolled with all the punches, kept things light while working in what can only be described as a chaotic environment, and got some amazing shots of our special day.
