Jennifer couldn't have been a more perfect fit for my husband and me. Taking pictures isn't a favorite activity for my husband. So, I knew it was critical to find a photographer who would be a good match and one who's photography style we'd love. A colleague of mine worked with Jen on her wedding in 2004. And, when her pictures came back and she shared them - I just fell in love with the way her beautiful day was shot. The photos told a story from the very beginning of her day to the ceremony and the reception. Jen's work is emotive, warm and unexpected (she leverages the environment to get amazing and delightful shots). She also carefully and appropriately balances black & white with color shots. Jen captured the spirit of our Christmas wedding. It was exactly what we wanted for our wedding photos!
Photography style is one aspect of hiring a photographer. The other that ended up being one of the best aspects of what Jen offers is partnership. She is prompt, professional and will go above and beyond what you'd expect as a client. What I didn't realize is that our partnership extended beyond our wedding day. You spend another two to four months working and communicating with your photographer after the wedding; finalizing select shots, album (if part of your contract) and final slideshow. Jennifer obviously has other clientele, but she treats you as if you are her only client. She works very hard to ensure you get what you both agreed to in a timely manner.
