I truly cannot hype Jem up enough!! She is the most incredible photographer and is such a lovely and fun person that guests at our wedding assumed she was our friend who we asked to take pictures for us! We did both an engagement shoot and our wedding with her and the photos from both turned out absolutely incredible. She really understood our vision and the pictures capture everything we wanted: decor, colors, energy, and especially the pure joy we felt on our wedding day. She was so on top of our timeline and we were through family and bridal party portraits in no time (which was important to us) and any time we left for private portraits, it felt like a fun escape from the craziness to soak in the excitement of being married. She really made everything fun! She also has such important insights about small details of the wedding day, taking a moment for just ourselves after the ceremony and encouraging us to do a private last dance after our reception which honestly was one of the highlights of the entire day (in both photos and happiness). Guests are still complimenting us on her energy and raw talent after seeing the photos. If you’re still looking for your perfect photographer, LOOK NO FURTHER!

Jem was one of the most valuable members of our vendor team! Experienced and knowledgeable, she guided us as relative amateurs through the steps of preparing and executing the day we had planned. We appreciated her professionalism balanced with great humor and genuine excitement – even though she does hundreds of weddings, she still made us feel special. We felt so relaxed taking photos with her on what could have been a much more stressful day. We have already been to one close friend’s wedding where Jem was the photographer, and we are looking forward to more in the future.

I am literally sitting here choked up trying to find the words to express how absolutely amazing Jem is! It is clear to see she is extremely talented in her profession - but what isn't clear when looking at her portfolio is how fun, professional, and badass she truly is. To say things were running behind on my wedding day would be an understatement - and with out Jem there I think I would have been an absolute wreck. She kept me calm, laughing, and assured the entire day. She was firm with the other vendors and guests to get people moving to where they would be. Basically Jem was also our coordinator with out actually being hired as our coordinator LOL - and I don't know what I would have done with out her that day! We have only received our sneak peeks so far - but I already cherish every single photo she has sent over. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I are not the most natural in front of the camera but she kept us laughing - and on top of how happy we were that day - you can really see the joy shine through in every single photo. People keep commenting how I "clearly had no fun that day" in sarcasm when they see the photos because we are both smiling ear to ear in every single one. She had so many wonderful ideas for photos - and worked with the insane heat wave we were experiencing to make sure everyone wasn't fully melting by the time photos were over. I will hire Jem over and over again - she will be my family photographer until the end of days because there is no one as amazing as she is! THANK YOU JEM for everything! We truly love you!!!!

Working with Jemima was an absolute dream! I found her through Instagram and as I read through her website, I just knew she was the wedding photographer for me. She is an absolute professional who was so easy to work with and communicative from the initial inquiry all the way to the delivery of our wedding gallery. On the actual day, she will go above and beyond for you - just like a friend. She gave sneak peeks the day after the wedding and our full gallery after 4 weeks which is AMAZING. But when I saw the photographs she took of our day, I shed tears of happiness! She captured all the PERFECT moments and I barely even noticed her taking them! We had a church wedding and she was absolutely professional and reverent to church decorum!

Planning a small wedding during a pandemic can still be stressful but Jem was so flexible when it came to last-minute changes. As a bride on a budget, photography was my highest priority/splurge but Jem's packages are priced so fairly especially for what you get!

Long story short: She is an absolute professional who is also friendly and on your side. Her photography was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend her to any bride out there looking for a wedding photographer.

Jemima is amazing! From my initial inquiry, to her patience with some last minute plans, she was so easy to work with. My partner and I hired her for a session and she made us feel so comfortable and she captured a ton of gorgeous images. We wanted our shoot to be authentic and rich and her shots and editing delivered just that! We received a sneak peek of the images a few days later and the final images came back much faster than expected. If you are looking for a chill photographer who creates beautiful photos at a fair price, call Jem. I’m currently wracking my brain for another excuse to book her!

I wish I could give Jem 10 stars instead of 5, especially for flexibility when obviously in the time of Covid, changes had to be made regularly.

It's sounds cheesy, but working with Jem was an actual dream come true. I hate even using the term "working with" because nothing felt like work.

Not only did she send us tons of helpful planning documents and a sweet surprise before our engagement photos, help my (now) husband surprise me during our engagement photos with a second proposal, risk Covid times to photograph our home wedding...she also made two people who aren't super camera comfortable feel normal and natural within a few minutes of our meeting.
Jem is fun and funny and loves people for all the weird that they can be and loves your love for all the unique ways that it exists.
She just makes the whole process so easy and obviously, on top of all that, how about HOW BEAUTIFUL THE PHOTOS ARE?! Also the turnaround time? Second to none. I've had friends wait 3-6 months for their wedding photos. Jem however returned our album to us within 24 hours. Of course, it's worth noting that our 170 person party had to be reduced to an 8 person gathering in our apartment so there weren't AS MANY photos to edit, but still...very impressive.
I just can't say enough good things about Jem. Without a doubt, we will hire her for ANY event we ever have, and we suggest her to anyone we know in need of a photographer.

She worked with us through the pandemic times and made our special day that much better!! She is very personable and works with you where you are at. Couldn’t sing higher praises!

Jemima and her husband Dylan photographed our wedding this past November and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this duo. My husband and I are not exactly the most comfortable people in front of the camera but both Jemima and Dylan made us feel at ease. They are helpful, talented and also hilarious. We used Jem and her team for photos and video at our wedding. If I could give them each a thousand stars, I would. From Jen’s first email response that included a gif of the Target lady from SNL I knew she was the photographer for us. She helped calm me down when our engagement photo weather turned out muddy instead of snowy and our wedding day had fog instead of snow. (Ladies, pray for foggy weather because it’s insanely gorgeous) She and Dylan are professional, fun, blend into a crowd and most importantly take incredible photos and video. I cannot say enough positive things about working with this insanely talented group.
