During the ceremony, Nick circulated constantly to capture all the best angles and he even recorded a video of the entire ceremony so we wouldn’t miss a moment.

Nick hosted a "get to know you" zoom, which helped us get to know each other and feel comfortable and understand what to expect (this was really helpful for a couple who is camera shy) -- we loved how at ease he made us feel before and during the whole ceremony. We appreciate the initial intake call to see if his services would be a good fit and after that the signing of the contract was underway. Nick provided my wife and I with an online document that really helped up envision the day of the wedding and how we wanted the day to flow when it came to taking the photos. We had an additional call the week prior to the wedding day to ensure the order of events was set so that the day could go as seamless as possible from the photography angle. From the getting ready photos, flat lays, and first look to the ceremony, family portraits, cocktail hour, reception and departure photos, Nick and Ken really told a story through the lens over the span of 10 hours. My wife and I looked at the photos and aside from the phenomenal quality, the scenes and moments captured really brought us back to that very special day! Being able to relive that day was something of great importance to my wife and I and JB Elliott Photography did a great job of executing that goal. The company even surprised us a video and audio of the ceremony portion and we really appreciated that as we did not a have a videographer. Nick and team went above and beyond with their professionalism, flexibility, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable and like themselves in front of the camera lens. Nick was very professional, understanding of our needs, and responsive to our asks! During our consultation, Nick listened carefully and provided excellent recommendations so that the day-of wedding photography experience and final products were exactly what we were hoping for! Nick edited the photos so quickly that we had access to download digital files and order prints just one week after our ceremony! In addition to photos, Nick recorded a video of the ceremony (with a lapel mic hidden in the groom's suit for excellent audio) so we could share the moment with loved ones who could not attend. As I was searching high and low on instagram for a photographer to capture our wedding, I noticed Nick’s page and was completely captivated by his work (bonus that he previously shot a wedding at our venue!). My now husband and I decided to go with Nick because of his personal approach and attention to detail. We loved that he immediately took interest in us as a couple and ensured we were all comfortable by including an engagement shoot with our package. I am naturally detailed-oriented so I liked filling out the questionnaires Nick provided to ensure that he understood our vision and what we would like captured. He is organized, professional, and extremely personable. Specifically, during our engagement session, it was an extremely humid day in the middle of July and I was not feeling well walking around in the heat. Nick went out of his way to ensure there were many moments where I could rest and take breaks. He also went the extra mile to walk around the Wharf (our engagement shoot location) to find a store and bring me back a bottle of water while my husband sat to wait with me for Nick to return. Nick was able to work around the heat and our photos still came out AMAZING. 10 out of 10 service! My husband and I absolutely love the beautiful moments Nick captured between our engagement and wedding. He captures portraits and “off-guard”/“action” shots very well.
