Janelle captured our elopement in Grand Teton National Park in September 2025. My husband and I are from the UK, so we had the added complication of planning our wedding from half way across the world. It was genuinely the most perfect, magical day - which was largely down to Janelle going above and beyond to help and advise us from afar in the lead up to the wedding.

After our initial enquiry, Janelle set up a Zoom call with us, and talked us through the whole process. She explained the GTNP wedding permit process, and talked us through the best locations in the park for a more private evening elopement spot. She was brilliant, and instrumental to the planning process! She was incredibly quick to respond to questions we had via email too - even given the time difference between the US and UK.

We ran into a bit of a snag in the lead up to the wedding, as the number to book our wedding licence appointment at the county clerk’s office didn’t connect from England. Janelle literally saved the day by making the phone call for us, and scheduling the appointment on our behalf. The wedding literally couldn’t have happened without her doing that, and we are so grateful for her help!

Janelle is the loveliest person, and it was a so much fun meeting her and having her take our photos! She’s so incredibly professional, and took care of all of the details - like making sure we wrapped up our first look photos on time for the ceremony. It made it so we could just completely enjoy the day and be in the moment, which I think really shines through in the photos! It was also so lovely meeting her husband, who stood in as one of our witnesses.

The photos are absolutely stunning! They’re the perfect blend of traditional posed photographs, but also the incidental candid moments of joy, laughter and tears! We couldn’t be happier with them - especially the images taken along the road by Cathedral Group Turnout, with the orangey-pink sky and mountains behind us. They’re perfect! We’re so glad we chose Janelle to be our photographer, and we’d ask her to talk photos for us again in a heartbeat if we’re lucky enough to visit the park again in the future.

I dont think words will ever suffice for how amazing Janelle was for our elopement! But Im going to try! Not only did she spend time helping walk us through the details of getting permits and picking a location for what we wanted- especially coming from out of state- sight unseen as wed never been to Wyoming- she helped me find a vendor for hair and makeup as well as making hotel and dining recommendations. Her kindness radiated throughout the entire process!
THEN comes the skill, knowledge, and expertise of her photography! She was an absolute pleasure to work with- it was honestly like having a good friend shoot for us! She made us so comfortable and we had soooo much fun! And our photos.... WOW. Just WOW. I dont think I could put into words how much we love them! She truly captured the essence of our relationship and everything that is "us".
Any anxiety I had about our big day, melted away the second we started talking! Do yourself a favor, and hire Janelle for your photography needs- you will not be disappointed!

We are so happy we chose to work with Janelle for our micro wedding! She was so generous with her time and incredible warm to work with, including helping us sort out what ceremony site would fit our needs and personality best and other options for taking photographs in the area! She was highly professional the entire time and extremely timely with communication. She was also incredibly flexible with accommodating our request to take photos in one of our favorite fishing locations, and when lighting was not working in a pre-planned spot (suggesting another location nearby and spending extra time than originally planned to make sure we still got photographs at our original spot). I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Janelle to capture my engagement! Both my fiancée and I are not very comfortable being in front of the camera but Janelle made it super easy for us both, I never would have imagined having so much fun having photos taken of me. We scheduled a little over a month out and she was so great to give her recommendations for where the best spots around the Tetons were at. When the morning of the shoot came, we woke up without a view of the mountains due to a forest fire in the area but Janelle had great communication throughout the day about the conditions and potential backup locations, which definitely helped ease the nerves throughout the day. Only had to wait about a week to get the photos back and we are blown away by how amazing they all look, we just had to buy the entire album!
