On August 3, 2026, my husband and I got married in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, surrounded by our immediate families. We both work in the hospitality industry, and having spent so much of our lives creating special moments for others, we knew we wanted something different for ourselves. We chose an intimate destination wedding centered around what mattered most: celebrating our love and spending meaningful time with the people closest to us.

Planning a wedding from Buffalo, NY, meant putting a lot of trust into people we had never met. I didn't have the opportunity for a hair or makeup trial, didn't know who my stylist would be, and didn't have a bridal party to share those traditional getting-ready moments with. I had sent a few inspiration pictures, read the reviews, and hoped for the best.

And then Taleigha walked through the door.

Where do I even begin? I genuinely wish I lived in Wyoming just so I could have this beautiful soul in my life forever!

From the moment she arrived, she made me feel like I had known her for years. She was warm, kind, calming, and unbelievably talented. I had expected to explain my vision, but she had already taken the time to review my inspiration pictures and knew exactly what I wanted. That small detail meant more to me than she probably realizes.

My hair and makeup were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, but what I will remember most is how she made me feel.

Without even knowing it, Taleigha filled a space in my wedding morning that I didn't realize needed filling. She made me feel comfortable, confident, and truly like a bride. She gave me those special getting-ready moments I wasn't sure I would have, and made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself.
There are people who are wonderful at what they do, and then there are people who leave a lasting impression on your heart simply because of who they are. Taleigha is both.

Taleigha, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You may have thought you were simply showing up to do someone's wedding hair and makeup, but to me, you became part of one of the most treasured memories of my life.

I would choose her again in a heartbeat and recommend her a thousand times over. I cannot express how incredible Tanya and her team were! Spot on communication from the beginning of the process to wedding day. I had a very out there request for a hot roller big hair look and Tanya not only met but exceeded all expectations. She delivered on the big hair of the century and I’m so grateful. I never wear makeup and wanted a very natural look and it could not have been more flawless. It lasted all day and she gave me a fabulous lip gloss to refresh throughout the day. 10/10 would recommend if you want the most caring team to glam you up on wedding day! Bobbi with HMU by Tanya, did an AMAZING job with my mom and I for my mountain elopement!!! She made sure we felt like ourselves and got exactly what we wanted and were comfortable with. She listened to our "wants" and "dont wants" and man did she deliver! I wont get my professional photos back for a bit and I forgot to snag an after photo of my mom, but here's my hair and makeup with Bobbi NAILED flawlessly and we even had almost an hour to spare! Awesome experience!
