Joe Schiffman has been a photographer for over ten years. He attended college at The Academy of Art Univeristy in San Francisco California where he earned his BFA in Fine Art Photography. Joe has photographed over fifty weddings and even more events.

Joe considers himself to be photographic storyteller. As with most wedding photojournalists Joe values shooting techniques that minimize posing and scene manipulation. His goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible while capturing the reality of the event with little interference. He focuses on finding moments during a wedding that happen naturally, rather than setting up portraits. As with most weddings Joe still provides wedding group photos but the main difference here is that these are typically less rigid and make up only 10 to 20 percent of the entire photographic coverage of your event.

Joe is very involved in every clients event, often calling or emailing weekly to keep on top of any changes to schedules and often attends the dress rehersal. He stays in constant communication with the bride and groom to ensure that everyone is all on the same page all the way to the end of the reception.

Joe has worked with images both in film and digital for the last ten years and knows what it will take to get your wedding images ready within three weeks of the wedding day. Joe has also worked with many companies that he processes his images through and has a long and detailed list of finished products from framed canvas prints to photo books and an array of great print packages.
