He made us feel completely comfortable, he was very flexible and willing to work with our preferences, and most importantly our pictures turned out beautifully! We were worried about planning from out of town, but he made it really easy and had great suggestions for photo locations. We booked Jonathan as our wedding photographer thanks to a recommendation from a friend who used him as their wedding photographer. We couldn't be happier with the outcome! We booked him well over a year out due to his popularity and met up before signing a contract to discuss what we wanted for our wedding. He was really great at guiding us toward things we may like, since we weren't totally sure about what we wanted or which venues would be best for our engagement and wedding party photos. Jonathan was quick to respond to any questions we had about our wedding and was especially helpful when it came to managing the day-of details - he certainly goes above and beyond just taking your photos (and making you look good). Our photos were incredible...well above our expectations, since my husband and I tend to be a little stiff in front of a camera. Jonathan makes pretty much anyone feel at ease and did a phenomenal job catching all of the details of the day without being intrusive - he seemed to be everywhere and also completely invisible at the same time. We received our photos back in a reasonable amount of time, especially given the fact that he doesn't batch-edit your photos. You can definitely see the care that he puts into the final product. We would definitely book him if we had to do it all over again!

A hard-working professional! The moments of joy that you captured on all the faces of my loved ones are exactly how I want to remember that special day. The family portraits are wonderful, but the dancing shots are especially my favorites. I loved that, though several other things didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped, I could rest assured that you had the photography completely under control. My mom even commented how much she appreciated how slick you were at getting candid shots...she didn't feel attacked by paparazzi like at my sister's wedding with another photographer. We are so glad we chose Jonathan as our wedding photographer! We would 100% recommend him to our friends and anyone looking for a photographer. He was incredibly easy to work with. A few things that really stood out to us: First, he is extremely organized, responsive, easily reachable by email, and always on time (even early!). For a bride who did NOT have a wedding planner and who organized most of the wedding herself, this aspect was so helpful and made things so easy for me. Second, he has a great personality, and made us feel extremely comfortable during both our engagement shoot and during our wedding day. We had several hiccups during our photo shoots (we got totally rained out on our scheduled engagement photo day, and then our February winter wedding was COLD), but he worked with us and didn't even bat an eye. Third, he has a lot of experience. He is totally up for any crazy photo idea you might have, but he has also done this enough that he has plenty of suggestions himself and knows what looks good and what doesn't. He'll tell you if your hair is in your face or if your fiance's suit needs to be unbuttoned for this particular shot. Finally...and most critically...he is an amazing photographer who really takes pride in his craft. You can definitely trust him to do his best on every single job for every single client. He was one of our best decisions for our wedding and we're so happy he was a part of our day!

We could not be more happy with our photos from our big day! I was moved to tears when I saw them. Not only did Jonathan capture beautiful moments of my wedding party, but also the details I didn't even think of! He is extremely professional overall and completely non-invasive. He captured tons of gorgeous photos of our ceremony, and not once did I feel like he was in the way of anything at all. He was polite fun to work with, and very prepared. Booking Jonathan is the best decision that we've made thus far with wedding planning! Not only was our engagement shot so fun (he made my fiancé actually enjoy taking photos!), but the photographs turned out amazing! Jonathan has also been great to work with.
