Hiring a talented photographer was one of the most important things to me during wedding planning and Sara has far exceeded my expectations. Not only are her pictures absolutely stunning, she is professional, communicative, and just overall the type of person you’d like to hang out with! She did our engagement shoot on Mackinac Island in January and shot our wedding at Stonecliffe in September. All the pictures are so so beautiful and I could not be happier with my decision to hire It’s Wonderful Photography.

I’ve been obsessed with Sara’s photography for a long time but having the privilege of hiring her for our wedding was beyond what I imagined! She literally becomes like a family member and is a joy to have as a part of your big day...AND her pictures are insanely amazing!!!!! My wife Katie and I chose It’s Wonderful Photography for our wedding. Sara is so incredibly talented and her eye for detail is perfect. In saying that she made my wife and I feel comfortable and safe and we enjoyed every minute with her. She captured every shot that we wanted and some we never even thought of.
Sara didn’t only capture the pictures she was able to translate the mood. She told a story from the time with the bridal party before the wedding. Then myself and my groomsmen waiting for Katie to arrive at the church. The Ceremony itself. Then the carriage ride where she followed on bike and took amazing photos making are way through town. She had beautiful backdrops selected for Katie and I to take pictures by the boardwalk.
Then we pulled up to The Island House Hotel where she masterfully wrangled both are family and friends, 150 guests. She captured all the beauty surrounding that amazing venue and made us feel so incredibly special.
The reception photos are amazing and everyone at our wedding was represented.

I loved Sara's work from the minute my cousins showed me pictures of their weddings years ago and the editing was off the charts. Her colors are so vibrant and lively as if you are standing there in the picture. I knew whenever I got married, I would hire her as well due to the quality of her work. Sara is absolutely amazing! It was a no brainer to choose Sara and It's Wonderful Photography for our Michigan wedding. We actually met her several years ago at The Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island in Michigan where she took our first "couple photo" on the porch. Sara is an immensely talented photographer who was an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. She memorized what poses we wanted to have as a couple, and made sure that we got every shot. She effortlessly posed us, our bridal party, and our families, creating beautiful pictures that we will treasure forever. She also came up with great ideas for some very romantic and creative shots, which ended up being some of our favorites. Her pictures are full of vibrant color and emotions, and she really captured who we are as a couple, as well as the vibe of our bridal party and our wedding. I could not be happier with my decision to book Sara Wright. She was wonderful and so talented. We just got our photos back and every single one of them is amazing(all 1200!).
