Alex from IQvideography, is not just your run-of-the-mill videographer, he is a ARTIST. It is ridiculous how good he is at what he does that I cannot simply just give him 5 stars and move on; I need every single person reading this review to just stop where they are and just hire Alex. You do not need to look any further... I'm serious. He will be the best decision you made for your wedding. Truly, you can thank me later. This review is a long time coming since our wedding was in November 2018. But better late than never, amirite? Read on for more details and me rambling about how amazing Alex is:

This whole journey started many years before I got married actually and I had come across some of Alex's highlight films from some of his previous weddings. I knew in that instant that whenever we finally decided to get married, that he would be the one. And when I meant, "the one" - I didn't mean my current husband, I meant our one true, meant-to-be videographer, of course. After all, you only get married once (not planning on doing this again), and looking back on these memories through video is the only way to hold onto those memories. Myself being from NYC and my husband from London, the fact that Alex was based in San Francisco was not a deterrent, I would have flown him out any day of the week to shoot my future wedding!

When I finally got engaged, I emailed Alex right away. And said that he was my first and only choice to be my videographer in the Dominican Republic. He gladly agreed, and let's just say the rest was history! He was easy to work with, in terms of our contract, and even being open to shooting our long double-wedding (Hindu & Buddhist) with a total of 6 events over 4 days. I'm sure we were not easy clients - let's just say I am a Type A bride with a Type A mother, but Alex was cool, calm and collected and was professional, helpful and understanding every step of the way!

Alex was flexible, funny and just a pleasure to work with the entire time. He was on time, worked with all of our vendors seamlessly and his partner Josh was also fantastic part of the team. I mean it is very clear Alex has had previous training as a ninja, and I think that it truly helped him be everywhere and nowhere at the same time to capture all the fantastic moments that we look back on so fondly.

We not only got compliments on our highlights video, but everyone truly though we were just trying to rival Crazy Rich Asians with our over-the-top South Asian wedding. Let's just say, Alex made us and our 4-day wedding look beyond beautiful and it was amazing to get to to share those moments with our friends and family who could not make it to our destination wedding.

Turnaround time for our deliverables was lightning quick, and much faster than expected. When I say that we cried, laughed, cried and laughed some more, it is an understatement. Our family could not believe how beautiful and seamless the transitions, music, speeches and quality of our film was. If perfection was an attainably quality in a videographer, Alex truly is perfection. His talent for storytelling, through video is unparalleled and if I could give Alex a million stars I would! Now we get to cry, laugh, and cry again for the next 50 anniversaries (hopefully more) to come when we rewatch our highlights and feature film. Alex, thank you for giving us the gift of these beautiful memories to look back on. We are forever thankful and grateful to have you shoot our wedding.

I cannot say enough great things about IQ videography!! We got married in October of 2010 in the Napa Valley....while it is usually a beautiful time of year, it happened to POUR the day of our wedding. I was so worried that we wouldnt get any good shots because of the rain.....but when I watch the video now its almost like the rain was always supposed to be a part of the evening. They shot footage in the pouring rain covering their expensive cameras with jackets and umbrellas....but it all worked and I'm SO happy for the video we have and watch over and over again!!

I didn't know that someone who had never met my husband and I could capture us so perfectly after knowing us only for a few hours. Alex was amazing. I mean hands down amazing. We had already booked our photoraphy with IQ photo and were on the fence about video, but since we were having a tiny City Hall wedding with under 10 ppl we figured this would be a great way to share it with family and friends, so we bit the bullet and booked him. Alex was flexible and helpful with ensuring we would have the enough time for getting ready shots of both me and my husband (at separate locations) as well as our First Look, and then considering how much time we would need for footage after the ceremony too.
Just over a week after our wedding we had the final video edit in our hands and it was perfect.

We cannot say enough good things about the IQ team. Our video turned out better than we had ever dreamed! I feel that Alex totally captured our personalities, our style, and our emotions fully. We got married at the City Hall last month and now all we have left are the beautiful photos and video by the brothers Alex and Joseph (IQ Videography and IQ Photo). We had a great time with them. They were very easy to work with. My husband and I were comfortable posing with them. Our families have nothing but praises for them too. They directed us well. Friends and family continue to rave about our photos and videos because they truly captured the wedding beautifully. We had an intimate ceremony of 20 ppl, immediate family only and yet by showing our photos and videos to our friends back in the Philippines, it was like they were able to experience the moment with us too! A lot of friends have told me that they cried while watching the videos. Oh, and we are from Ohio so we only communicated with them thru email and we had NO issues whatsoever. We planned to meet at a certain time and there they were! :) They listened to all our requests and I just can't imagine anyone else capturing our wedding day that way.

I recently was holding a series of focus groups out in San Francisco for the company I work for. Being located in Buffalo, NY I had no clue who to look for or who to hire. Thank GOD I found IQVideography!

Alex did an absolutely fantastic job for us. He must have been bored sitting there listening to these focus groups, but he acted professionally throughout the entire process. He showed up early everyday, took great video, even put a microphone in the middle of the table so the audio would be better (I didn't ask him to do that). He edited and sent the videos in a very timely matter.

Get this, he even showed up a half hour earlier than he needed to in order to save my company on parking charges. I couldn't believe it!

Alex is a class act, and because of him I can do my job and report on these focus groups to my bosses.

If I lived in San Francisco I would hire him for my wedding. Heck, I might even fly him out here to Buffalo ;-)
