About

I first became ordained on Universal Life Church Monastery in April 2011 honestly just for fun. My credentials just sat in my wallet and I never thought of them again. Until I met the man of my dreams. In the wedding planning process we were using a friend (who was ordained with the same Monastery I was) to officiate our wedding. So of course I did all the research and preparation in making the perfect ceremony for our friend to use. I absolutely fell in love with the process. All the intricate parts that get put together to make an amazing ceremony, I was hooked.

I'm well spoken and a great public speaker, I am a perfectionist to a fault and ensure a well rounded ceremony to your liking. I am non-denominational and am able to customize your ceremony based on your wants and needs. I want to work WITH you to make the ceremony perfect, OR you can allow me to put something special together for you.

Megan is a rockstar!

We absolutely loved Megan from the very first interview — we knew right away she was the perfect fit for us. She did an incredible job on our wedding day, and I’d recommend her a hundred times over!

A great experience from start to finish!

Megan was great from the beginning! She was very responsive, got back to me right away, and really helped seal the deal for how our day was going to unfold. Originally, we planned to get married at the courthouse and elope. I wanted to surprise my husband with something more intimate, so I rented an atrium in a museum for our ceremony and reached out to Megan to see if she was available (a weeks notice). Thank goodness she responded right away and was not only available but thrilled to be part of our special moment! She sent me a few ceremony options and asked I write something up about my husband and I to customize our ceremony and vows. It was a magical moment and an amazing day. Thank you for being part of it!!!

Megan is the best!

From start to finish, we LOVED working with Megan! We knew we didn't want a "traditional" ceremony, and with Megan as our officiant, we were able to achieve that. She took the time to get to know us both individually and as a couple, and then wrote a personalized ceremony based on what we wanted out of our day. She even helped us to include our dog in a part of the ceremony too! If we had to go back and do it again, we would 100% go with Megan at I'd Love to Tie Your Knot!

Wonderfully Amazing

Words can't begin to describe how worderful Megan is! She is a profesional, down to earth, fun, loving expert who goes above and beyond to make your day special! She did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony and took the time to get to know us to make sure it was special for us! Marry Megan!

Megan was a pleasure to work with and easily the simplest decision we made for our wedding. She was very responsive, reasonable, and open minded to what ideas we had for our ceremony. We met her on a video chat and communication after that was mostly email. She helped us more than she realizes, as her guidance and questions helped us to organize our thoughts as to what we wanted to express in our wedding ceremony. She was very professional and had several poems and readings prepared, and was familiar with all kinds of wedding traditions from around the world. She was also very adaptable and reliable, as we had to change our wedding plans a few times in the beginning of the covid pandemic. She was determined to help us go through with our wedding and made us feel comfortable that whatever we decided would be possible. Thanks, Megan for a wonderful wedding officiant experience!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Megan was absolutely amazing to work with, she was always available to help us whenever we needed help. She made our ceremony special and very specific to us, giving us exactly what we needed. I would recommend her to anyone that I know.

We were so pleased with Megan when she married is this September. She incorporated personal touches and details to the ceremony that kept it light but still very meaningful. She was able to handle our somewhat rowdy bunch and I received multiple compliments from our guests about the ceremony. You will not regret hiring her as your officiant!

Megan was great from start to finish. When we began looking for officiants, we thought we would have a lot of trouble - our wedding venue was off the beaten path, we wouldn't have a chance to sit down for interviews or visit, and it was quickly approaching "panic time" as we got closer and closer to the wedding date. Once we found Megan, she did everything in her power to make things easy for us. Venue was rural? She'd travel, no problem. We couldn't do anything face-to-face? She was flexible for phone calls, prompt with emails, and even incorporated our relationship stories into our vows (her idea, by the way!). Hurricane inbound? Thankfully that missed us, but I'm sure she would've come up with something. Most of all, she actually cared about making the day special for us. In all the chaos and stress that makes up a wedding, the calmest and clearest moment we had was when we met Megan together in front of all our friends and family. So thank you again Megan, for being the eye of our storm, and for guiding our wedding into the perfect day we hoped it could be.

Megan was absolutely fantastic! She kept our ceremony short and sweet like we wanted it and made sure to incorporate our personalities. She was dead set on getting our ceremony perfect and worked with us to make sure we loved it. Almost everyone complimented our ceremony and said that our officiant was awesome! She was super easy to work with and was more than willing to help with whatever we needed!
