My fiance and I looked at dozens of venues for our wedding and none of them were as beautiful and stress-free as the Hyeholde. This venue easily had the best value for our wedding where they included the catering, decorations, staff, ceremony decor, and drinks all in the package. The venue was well known to many vendors so coordination was easy & painless. Matthew was the most helpful person out of anyone helping plan our wedding, he helped realize our dream wedding while offering guidance where we needed help. We felt at home preparing for the ceremony the day of & during rehearsal. All of our guests left raving about the beautiful venue and delicious courses served during reception.

The Hyeholde was the first and only venue we looked at for our 10/12 wedding. Matthew and DJ were beyond incredible and quickly responded to every anxiety-filled email I sent and we able to accommodate all requests and last minute changes. On my wedding day, DJ made sure I didn’t have to worry about anything and Matthew helped with all the details (including placing fresh flowers on my cake and fixing my mother’s corsage after it broke). Our ceremony was outside and was the most beautiful setting. The surrounding property served as an incredible background for pictures. We opted for a plated dinner for our guests (spinach salad, filet, chicken, shallot smashed potatoes!!! and broccoli almandine) and everything was delicious. Our guests could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. The Round Room was perfect for our small, intimate wedding. Everything was just perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

My husband and I knew we wanted an elegant/historic/intimate venue for our spring wedding, and the Hyeholde was the perfect choice! We had 59 guests and used the outdoor garden for the ceremony and the Round Room for cocktail hour/reception. The garden was the perfect backdrop for our nuptials, with greenery all around, even in early spring just a week after a late season snowstorm! Bonnie and Matthew were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process (we started the planning process with Matthew, then Bonnie took over the event coordinator role shortly before our wedding day). Leading up to wedding, and the day of, Bonnie was always there when I needed her, and I felt as if she truly cared about our wedding day, just as much as we did. She is extremely knowledgeable and flexible (we were late the day of due to unforeseen circumstances), and helped me make decisions I didn't even know I needed to make. She ensured everything was set up exactly how we wanted it, without us having to lift a finger the day of. We were so grateful to have a venue that included an events specialist, as it took a lot of pressure off of us and allowed us to truly enjoy the day without worrying about little details. The food and drinks were amazing (we chose to have a plated dinner), with the sea bass with lemon-dijon sauce being a real crowd pleaser. The staff were all super attentive and nice, and our guests commented on the amazing service from everyone at the venue from the valets to the wait staff. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with multiple different backdrops for photographs. I highly recommend having a ceremony in the garden followed by a reception in the round room as it makes it so easy for everyone to have the events all at the same place. If you're having a smaller wedding in the Pittsburgh area, go with the Hyeholde and Bonnie and you are guaranteed to have the best day ever!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Hyeholde. The reception was in the Round Room and we had a garden ceremony right outside. This made it very convenient for our guest. The Round Room and the grounds looked beautiful. There were so many wonderful places to take pictures(inside and out). We chose to have a buffet, it included prime rib, chicken Marsala and pasta and everything tasted great. Mathew Haushalter was great and very helpful with the planning. He met with us serval times and answered any questioned we had very quickly. My husband and some of his family have celiac disease. Mathew and his staff were more than accommodating with changes in the food preparation for them. Thank you Mathew and the whole Hyeholde staff for making our wedding day memorable.

The Hyeholde Restaurant was absolutely perfect for our wedding day, it is always beautiful both inside and out. I loved walking down the staircase for my entrance, it was so elegant! Matthew was so helpful, he always answered my questions and was able to work with me when I needed to make any changes. Not to mention the food was delicious!

Once we stepped foot on to the beautiful grounds and inside of the Round Room, my husband and I knew where our ceremony and reception would be held. Despite the sweltering heat, our late June wedding was flawless. Matthew communicated with us for the entire 18 months leading up to our date and he was not only honest, but helpful leading us in the right direction every step of the way. The food was impeccable and the servers and staff even better. We only had around 80 people and that was just the right size for this picturesque setting tucked away just minutes from the city.

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful from start to end. All of our guests raved at the quality of the food and service as well as how beautiful and different the entire venue is. Matthew was very easy to work with and on top of every detail. Whenever we contacted him with any questions or concerns he responded promptly and to each point mentioned. We still cannot get over reasonably priced this venue was and could not have been happier with having both our ceremony and reception at this wonderful place!

I attended a friend's wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful. The building looks like a castle and the gardens are beautiful. The valet parking and the food were excellent. The inside did not need many decorations at it was already so beautiful.

This was the most romantic and beautiful location I found to have my wedding. Matt the banquet manager was awesome to work with and very accommodating. My wedding turned out flawless and everyone loved the food and service.
