My husband and I got married at HVCC on June 1st 2024 and had the BEST most perfect day there and that is all thanks to Allison and her team at HVCC. Book HVCC for your wedding now!! From the very beginning communication and planning with Allison has been a breeze. She answered all of my questions (trust me I had many) quickly and throughly. Everything is included, making it so easy and pricing was transparent (one price for person including tip, tax, open bar, bridal attendant and day of coordinator, and linens). We also were able to add on additional passed apps, and brunch for the girls and guys and get ready on site starting as early as 7 am. The chef was so accommodating for allergy restrictions and menu changes (my husband is gluten free and they said because they are a country club they already make many things gluten free to cater to their members so that wasn't even an issue). We also were able to trade out the included ice cream in the dessert package for our own ice cream from the University of Delaware creamery making our day that much more personal. Our bridal attendant was AMAZING. She was with us from 8 am until the end of the night. We had everything we needed, as did our parents. Our guests also all raved about the food. At golden hour the club also gave us a golf cart and a driver and took us on a ride through the course. It was so much fun and such a nice moment for my husband and I to have together to get away for a minute. Now, for the space. you get so much space at HVCC and it is all stunning. HVCC closed the gates of the courtyard during our ceremony making it feel so private and intimate for us and our guests. 5 pm ceremony on June 1st and the courtyard was also completely shaded again ensuring guest comfort. Cocktail hour on the terrace overlooking the course at golden hour was stunning. The reception room with the high pitched, hand painted beam ceiling and gold chandeliers, fire place, hardwood floors and big windows was exactly the vibe my husband and I wanted. The garden room also has large windows with so much natural light. If it rains you can definitely still get beautiful photos inside here. I had not heard of HVCC prior to wedding planning and truly felt like it was a hidden gem. Our day was absolutely perfect and we cannot recommend HVCC enough! thank you thank you!

We are SO happy we had our wedding here! Not only was it stunning (inside and outside!) but the staff was INCREDIBLE! Our day of bridal attendant was so incredibly helpful, I truly felt like the day went off without a hitch because of the care and attention to detail the staff had. Any problem that arose, they had multiple solutions already laid out before I even knew something had gone awry. Friends and family kept going on about how beautiful the venue was and I can’t agree more. It was the first and only venue my now husband and I looked at because once you look around and speak to Allison, it’s hard not to picture it as your wedding venue. I would chose this venue a hundred times over and absolutely can’t say enough good things about everyone who helped us that day!

We had our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Allison and her staff did a fantastic job. The venue is beautiful. The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive. It was everything that we envisioned. Allison made sure that every detail was handled. She made sure we stayed on schedule. We can't wait to see all of the pictures.

HVCC was an amazing place to have our wedding! From the moment we took our tour we knew we wanted their picturesque views and architecture to be our backdrop for our special day. The staff were extremely professional and the food was outstanding. We were so proud to bring our family and friends to this venue and we couldn't have been happier with our choice!

We worked with Maggie throughout the whole process at HVCC. They worked with us on adding things and subtracting others to our contract to make it exactly what we wanted. Food was awesome!!!! Give detailed instructions on the decor you bring in and they get everything setup. They have good packages that include catering, alcohol, setup, cake, taxes, etc that are affordable. Gorgeous views and pictures as well.

Huntingdon Valley Country Club was everything we could have wished for our wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Maggie who is simply the most amazing person for this experience. As a Bride, there were so many things I had going on in my head and being the control freak that I am, was very particular about every detail. Maggie handled EVERYTHING to PERFECTION. She was so patient with me and was always available via email, phone call, and text. She made me feel like we were the only couple getting married in her book (which is not the case) and paid attention to every detail. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at HVCC and my guests are still talking about the beauty of this place. It is not your average country club, it has so much character and views for the most amazing pictures to make this experience unforgettable. It is an absolute must to check out this place. Last but not least...the food. It was AMAZING. We wanted to pick a venue with not only amazing views and experience but also great food. We have been to weddings were the place was great but the food quality did not deliver. This is not the case with HVCC, from the cocktail hour to the dinner, the food was delicious with gorgeous presentations. I would want to go back just to eat there again because it was that good. All the staff and waiters were a pleasure to work with and were attentive to the needs of the guests at all times. Thank you HVCC for giving us the wedding of our dreams. This was an unforgettable experience thanks to Maggie and the team.

I got married last weekend on September 29, 2018 and HVCC was the absolute best venue I could have ever dreamt of getting married at! It was so beautiful and scenic -- from the ceremony in the front of the country club to the cocktail hour on the terrace in the back and the ballroom... So spacious and it even has a gorgeous bridal suite to get ready in. Last but not least, Maggie was the best wedding coordinator ever!!! Shes an incredible problem solver and she is so accomodating. She was constantly running around to make sure everything was going smooth and that everyone was happy! She's a very hard worker and takes a lot of pride in her job and it shows! I highly recommend HVCC for a beautiful, stress-free wedding!

I've always a vision of my dream wedding since I was a little girl. But honestly, Maggie, Chris and the entire staff blew my dreams out of the water! Our HVCC wedding was absolutely perfect in every way! From planning to full execution, there was zero issues or complications. People are still talking about how great the cocktail hour and food was!

Chris was amazing! I had so many questions and he answered each and every one of them with ease and he was always so prompt! He did an amazing job making my wedding dreams become a reality! The staff was awesome. I couldn’t have wished for a better wedding experience!!
