Ok, so I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to take some time to compliment Huey and his Crew on their fantastic work at our Wedding. Honestly, I’m really awkward in front of the camera and not really too comfortable. My Fiancé is the same way, so, when you combine the two of us…it’s make for some unflattering pictures!

Huey was just so relaxed in the way he worked that it translated to our mood. Don’t get me wrong, he’s working in a suit, but the way he communicates and directs, it’s as if he’s in a t shirt and shorts. Sounds weird, but that’s the best explanation i can think of. Needless to say, we already knew at the end of the Wedding that the pictures were going to be great, but when we got them, they were Amazing! The pictures actually made us look good!! Seems like they were captured at just the right moment to get the right expressions and feelings. Oh, and the candid shots made me cry. There were so many moments that I wasn’t able to see throughout the day, but the pictures captured all those moments that we had missed.

We can’t speak highly enough about their work…keep it up guys, you’re definitely doing what you’re meant to be doing.

What can I say. From the very start Huey made us feel very comfortable. He's very personable and engaging, and you can tell he truly wants your pictures to be the best they can be. He's also very knowledgeable in his craft, and our pictures came out exactly as we had hoped. Book with confidence, you will be well taken care of.

We had an incredible experience with Huey as our wedding photographer.
We started with engagement photos, which were part of the same package. I couldn't believe how many different types and styles of pictures could be taken out of one location.
The wedding went smooth and Huey had a great personality that meshed well with all 9 groomsmen and 16 bridemaids. That's right, it was a huge wedding on a boat with 200 people. No problem for Huey.
So impressed were we, that we had him take baby photos of our 1st born son as well.

Huey Bui Photography is amazing! We were referred to him by a family friend, and were so happy with our choice in photographer! Huey is very responsive and was always friendly and fun to work with. He and his photographers did a great job capturing each detail of our wedding day. They do a great job making you feel comfortable and therefore we look like ourselves (not too posed) in the photos.

Huey was a pleasure to work with. From our first email exchange to set up a date for photo session to the time he delivered the pictures, he was extremely professional, flexible, pleasant to work with and during our photo session, he gave me many good tips and put me at ease. My pictures came out beautiful, the best I have ever taken. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

What can I say about Huey and his Crew other than “Badass!!” You never truly know that you’ve made the right decision on a Photographer until you see your images, but after our Engagement Session, I knew we made the right decision and it was confirmed even further after we got our Wedding images! It’s hard to explain, but there’s something about the way they work and communicated with Us that just set Us at ease.


Needless to say, the Portraits were beautiful! I’m not even going to pretend to understand what they were doing, all I need to know is that the results were beautiful! But, the one thing that was the most pleasant of surprises was how many of the small little moments they captured. Looking through our images, I saw moments of Us with our Guests that they captured that I didn’t even realize anyone was paying attention to! It brought back a rush of feelings that made our Wedding seem like it was just yesterday. I remember Huey saying that they were pretty Ninja…yea…they are! Can’t thank you enough Huey!!
