Hope Allison was the perfect photographer for our wedding! She did such an amazing job from coordinating beforehand to capturing every single moment during the big day. Hope is absolutely phenomenal! Hire her! She is an amazingly talented photographer whose photos are pure magic. I hired her for an engagement session and my wedding day and had the best experience with her and her second shooter/partner Max. Hope captured our wedding day on both digital and film perfectly and made the entire experience smooth, joyful, and fun. She is very responsive, organized, and helpful with timeline creation -- giving insight about best timing for lighting, etc. She's professional while being warm and personal through the process. Not only is she uber talented (the photos speak for themselves), but she's also a genuinely nice, cool, fun, and easygoing person. I typically feel awkward being photographed, but she made me feel comfortable and completely at ease. Your photographer spends a lot of time with you on your wedding day so you want someone with a great personality like Hope by your side who feels like a friend and makes everything feel natural, calm, and enjoyable. All of our guests loved Hope and Max and were commenting on how great they were and the great vibes and energy they brought! Hope captures all of the classic photos you'd want, but then goes above and beyond to capture all of the sweet, candid, intimate, in-between moments, and special details that truly encapsulate your day. She has the perfect balance of knowing when to give direction or try creative ideas during wedding portraits and then receding so you don't notice a camera around during the wedding with her documentarian style capturing epic candids while you just enjoy the moment and she captures the memories. I'll cherish the photos she took forever and again highly recommend hiring her! I can't say enough good things!

I am SO HAPPY we hired Hope to be our photographer! Like many other 2020 couples, we had our plans change multiple times, but Hope didn't miss a beat - she even helped us come up with really creative solutions that worked for us even as our timing changed. But what I really want to gush about is how AMAZING and GORGEOUS our photos are. I'm so obsessed with them. We were both really nervous about being photographed, but she made it so comfortable, and captured our style so perfectly. Our pictures are so unique and beautiful. I am so glad we hired Hope as the photographer for our wedding. She did a great job and we absolutely loved the pictures. She was professional and very communicative leading up to the wedding - something I really appreciated as an out-of-town bride. Hope really captured the day in the best way. Abagail and I are so glad that we chose Hope! The photographs look outstanding. During the party, she was discrete and thorough, remembering and organizing all the family combinations we had asked for, and her humor and joyful presence made the party that much better.

Something that we are particularly grateful for was her eye for the details and her initiative--when the sunset was making particularly beautiful light, she pulled Abagail and me away briefly to take advantage of the unexpected opportunity.
