Better than I imagined
When I found this venue on the WeddingWire app, I fell in love! It has the wedding island and tent for those, like me, whose always wanted and outdoor wedding. Naomi is an amazing woman whose bubbly personality made me so excited when I was exploring the property. Grace is another great addition to the venue. She was on point with all of her answers to the millions of questions I had. Grace was on top of everything and I couldn’t have been more happy. The rest of the staff was so kind and understanding! The price was in our budget and the requirements for the amount of people can be in the tent was perfect for ANYONE whose looking for that intimate wedding; ie. 100-110 of your closest friends and family. The food was delicious, the staff during the wedding was so professional. It literally felt so surreal. And ITS A RESORT AND SPA. So any of my out of town guest could get a room to stay the night of the wedding, which made it safer for even those who wanted to enjoy themselves a little too hard. They have so much to offer and I wouldn’t have done this any other way. Honors Haven Resort and Spa is the best option!Sent on 05/15/2019

Our same-sex wedding was a smashing hit from start to finish. People were amazed with the landscape and the beauty of the property. Honor’s Haven is a bit of a diamond in the rough and in our opinion, was a great find. The event planning and food service staff were professional and super helpful. While we are still beaming over our ceremony, reception and after party, we would have enjoyed higher quality amenities.Sent on 07/21/2017
We had booked two massages at 11am on Sunday only to discover that we would have been separated into two 50 minute sessions. This would have prevented us from enjoying other amenities on the property before check out. The spa staff seemed unapologetic. We visited the outdoor pool which seemed to be missing water. Although, there were plenty of towels and seating and the upgraded restroom facilities were very nice.
The presidential suite is beautiful. It, too, can use some updating, but it was spacious and well appointed. It worked perfectly for our stay and photo shoot while dressing for the wedding. The multi head shower was fully functional and very relaxing. The sliding door to the patio needs to be cleaned immediately and replaced soon. After our ceremony and reception, the romantic bed decor and champagne and strawberries were a welcomed and delicious surprise.
Upon arrival the bellhops were sitting on the curb staring at their phones. We’re not one to use bellhops, so we declined their service anyway. They did bring us a cart. They can use some training on welcoming guests and customer service in general. Reception was friendly.
At home, we are awesome party planners. It was so wonderful to not have to execute this one. We can’t tell you how many times we were asked, “do you need anything?” This was the event of our lifetime and we’re not sure when we’ll stop smiling. You all are to be thanked for pulling off such a successful event.
