Nancy took care of us and gave my fiancé and I our dream wedding cakes.

Nancy and the team at Honey's did an amazing job on our wedding cake! I had an idea to combine two different styles I'd seen on Pinterest, but I wasn't sure how they'd work together. During our initial consultation, Nancy drew a design of what she imagined the cake would look like--she took my two ideas and showed me they would look great together! The final product was even more beautiful than I'd imagined, and the cake tasted great!!

Nancy and her team at Honey's Cakes designed and created our main wedding cake and the groom's cake. Nancy's artistic abilities will become apparent during your first meeting when she literally sketches out your dream wedding cake right in front of you. Beyond impressive. Both of our cakes turned out beautifully. Our main wedding cake was a four-tier buttercream cake with intricate floral designs hand-drawn with a champagne-colored buttercream frosting and ivory sugar peonies. It was absolutely stunning! The groom's cake was a very colorful and artistic "flaming eye" from a Tool album (my husband loves his rock music). Really neat looking cake. My husband secretly asked Nancy to include some special lyrics on the cake (lyrics from a Tool song that he used in his proposal), which made his cake extra special in my opinion. We had three cake flavors -- Italian cream cake, almond, and red velvet -- all three flavors were incredibly moist and delicious! I literally could not stop eating cake. The cakes were at the venue well before the reception and were in perfect condition (despite the summer heat and one-hour drive from Honey's Cakes to South Padre Island). Hats off to Nancy and her team for a job very well done!

Our wedding cake was a dream! It came out so beautiful and whimsical. They came up with ideas we hadn't even thought of and it looked awesome :) And of course it tasted great. They even drove it a mile away to South Padre. Highly recommend!

Aside from my beautiful wedding cake, I even ordered a customized groom's cake, which was perfect. Nancy and her team really pulled it off.

My wedding cake was absolutely delicious! From the start they were very responsive to our ideas of what we wanted our wedding cake to be like. The design was perfect and blended both of our visions perfectly. We had planned to have it delivered in Alamo, but ended up changing location to South Padre Island about a couple of months before the big day, luckily they were able to send our lovely cake all the way to the island.

I couldn't stop eating cake! It was amazing, I can't wait for our 1st year anniversary so I can eat some more!

Honey's Cakes did an excellent job on our wedding cake! Nancy and Joey are an amazing couple that create one-of-a-kind cakes. They were very flexible and by simply looking at the sketch that we made for them; they were able to make it "come to life." The only reason I gave 4 1/2 stars on quality of service was because some of the icing on our cake looked a tad messy. BUT, in their defense, there was an extreme traffic jam causing a delay of 2 hours - in the heat of Summer! It definitely was not a deal-breaker and the cake was truly magnificent.. everything I dreamed of :)

My cake was AMAZING! i was so in love with it. it was simple, yet elegant.. and tasted amazing! our friends and family were talking about the cake days after the wedding! i definitely recommend Honey's Cakes to future brides & grooms!
