Holy Family is the most beautiful church. Our photos from the ceremony are amazing. Msgr. Connolly gave the most wonderful and warm homily. All night long our guests were asking about him and praising how welcoming he was. He really made the event wonderful. Jane also made sure everything went off without a hitch. We are lucky she guided us through the process. The music was also wonderful. Peter is a fantastic cantor!

It's a Catholic Church so there are certain things that are required that are out of your control. The setting is beautiful and everyone is still talking about how wonderful Monsignor's homily was!

This is the church I attended growing up--I was baptized, received Holy Communion, was confirmed, and married here--so it was pretty easy to book a date. If you're not a parishioner however, you might be turned away (unfortunate, but I suppose necessary, to accommodate all the people who are regulars). Our priest was the same one who baptized me: Fr. Riz. He'd been a priest with Holy Family years ago but had left to preside over a church up north in Santa Maria. He came all the way down just to marry us, and he was wonderful. Our music was provided by the Holy Family Youth Choir, who did an amazing job. The only other church I'd ever consider getting married at is the Mission in Santa Barbara, but only because that's where my husband proposed.

Msgr. Connolly is a gem and made our ceremony wonderful. He's so warm and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful officiant. If we lived closer we'd still be going to Holy Family because of Msgr. Connolly. LOVE him. Years later we still received comments from guests (from other faiths) on how welcome he made them feel. Of course the wedding coordinator was "challenging" and she's the one you deal with primarily, but that's her job. You have to know that going in and just be prepared. She's definitely not flexible and her sole purpose is to manage your event efficiently and swiftly, insuring that everyone "walks the line." If you can swallow that then you'll have your wedding in a beautiful venue with a wonderful officiant in Msgr. Connolly.
