Very stable (20 years history) and with very little turnover in the band, Jersey's Own HOI POLLOI has performed at wedding receptions from Boston to Baltimore and always deliver the top level entertainment you expect. Available as five piece, but you can also add a horn section and/or DJ, if desired. There's a package to fit every budget, and we can also provide standalone DJ services.
We can play on or off-site ceremony as single, duet, or trio act. Instruments can include keyboards, acoustic guitar, flute, and voice.
We travel with our own modern and powerful PA system, including high quality wireless microphones for announcements and toasts. We also handle all Emcee needs, so no need for PA/Sound Reinforcement company or separate entertainer to contract with.
We dress appropriately to add style and class to your event, and we're open to destination/themed wedding parties as well. We have dressed as the cast of Gilligan's Island for a Halloween themed wedding, and in pajamas/togas for a fun informal costume wedding. We will work with your desires to craft the most memorable evening possible for your guests.

Best Band Ever!!!
From the start, Jim was incredible to work with. When we went to contract, two of the band members were already contracted for an event the same day as our wedding. Jim was able to bring in two replacements for our reception and they were incredible. People were on the dance floor in between the first and second course. It was the perfect night!
The band also supplied the DJ that we added on. With no prior contact with the DJ, he was the perfect MC and played the perfect music.
I highly recommend booking Hoi Polloi. Your guests will love them, and may even book them for their own party!
