Hitched Handmade transformed my grandmother's 50yo wedding dress into my dream dress. They were gentle and kind and so great to work with. They specialize in vintage dresses and were able to take my grandmothers dress in its fragile state and made it the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I highly recommend them!! They work on other alterations as well. I had a reception dress that was altered and bustled and that turned out flawless as well. I was beyond pleased!!!!!

On a fall trip to Asheville I stopped into the Garage 34 store, which was then housing the Hitched Handmade dresses, and when I saw the dress that is now my dress I just knew it was exactly what I was looking for! How unique to have a dress that is part vintage 1950s wedding gown and part artsy Asheville handmade handsewn remake! I had a wonderful experience with Kendra and Lindsay while they helped refit the dress to be completely custom to me. They worked with me to help me plan visits down (I live in Pittsburgh) and were just so sweet and fun! I can't recommend working with them enough!
