Historic Oakdale Ranch
About
The Historic Oakdale Ranch is home to the second oldest working ranch in Yolo County to be owned and operated continuously by the same family. The 400 acre ranch is located on the outskirts of Esparto, California, at the gateway to the beautiful Capay Valley. The Stephens Family has owned and operated Oakdale Ranch since 1852, and is now home to the 4th, 5th and 6th generation of Stephens’.
The event area is nestled between walnut orchards and hedges of native grass that insulate the 2 acre pond and event areas from Highway 16. Vistas of the rolling Capay Hills are visible in the distance.
The venue area includes a half acre of lawns adjacent to the 2 acres of pond, beautiful Walnut tree orchards, and a large rustic barn. This is a perfect location for an intimate wedding, family reunion, or company picnic.
The event area is perfect for parties of up to 275 people and has convenient parking.
While the area is available from March to October, spring and fall events are especially popular due to the moderate Yolo County climate.
