Do not book with this company. My fiance and I had to cancel our reservation within the full refund cancellation period. Someone quickly responded to us letting us know we could expect our refund check in the mail in 2-4 weeks. We never received it. At the 4 week mark, we reached out to the same customer service representative (Kat) for an update. She responded quickly again, the next day, letting us know she would check on the status with their accounting team. I followed up the next week as I had not heard back at all. No response. I followed up again 3 days later. No response. I followed up again 2 days later. No response. She responded 2 weeks later that she still needed to check with their accounting team. I have not heard back since, with more additional follow ups, and it has been almost another 2 weeks.

I am left completely perplexed by the lack of response in customer service, especially when they are holding a large chunk of our money and not returning it, even though they acknowledged that it is within their policy and that we should expect a check.

It has been detrimental to our wedding budget. If we don't hear back this week, we are going to pursue further action as we tried for months to go through customer service, and we couldn't even find a phone number on the site or another email to reach out to. It is almost impossible to reach anyone.

Our next best option is reporting to our state's Attorney General's office, the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission. Additionally, we have considered calling major credit card companies so no one has to go through what we have.

I had to scramble to find a substitute at the last minute for a Photobooth and this was the first company that I contacted and the last! The deal, professionalism and ease working with them was great. Very organized and worked seamlessly with our venue. Even had a surprise album of photos of our guests that they had them sign! Couldn’t have been happier!

They responded fast when I reach them, and it was very smooth to make a contract with them too.

On the day, the workers were so nice and friendly!
They have a lot of props, so you don't need to prepare them.

What I love the most was they made an album for us! Our guests took photos and the worker printed them and put them inside the album. At the end of the wedding day, you will receive that album! You can look so many people had fun.

You can choose the Media Type (Photo, GIF, or Boomerangs).
The format Template is Landscape or Square.
Especially I loved that you can choose your name design from 36 templates! You can upload your own design too. (I am not sure if it's an extra fee or not.)
Also for overlay design, you can choose any colour you want.

I chose the Gold Shimmer backdrop, and I loved it! Perfect colour and very good on your wedding dress.
I am not sure if you choose the black one, because some guess will come in black dresses and black suits.

Our photo booth was a hit at our wedding. The quality of the photos was great and the attendants made everything so easy. They delivered the link to the online gallery the next day and even split the photos into single photos instead of just providing the 4x4. One thing I will mention that I didn’t know prior to booking is that Hipstr contracts other photo booth companies so we had an entirely different photo booth company show up, and they weren’t given much info about our event. Even so, they killed it and we had a great time.

We hired Hipstr to do the photo booth at our wedding. They brought all of their own equipment, set up promptly and efficiently, and our guests had a blast taking photos! We really enjoyed being able to design our own photo strip. I would recommend them!

Loved my photobooth hosts, they made us doubles so my husband and I had our share of guest photos and they even created us a photo album with personalized notes from our family & friends... they all loved it. Definitely affordable & worth it!

We knew we wanted to do a photo booth and at the recommendation of a friend who used Hipstr previously, we decided to inquire about their services. Everything was straight forward and the options you have to craft a photo booth experience unique to you and your guests is fantastic. We loved being able to add our monogram to the layout of the photos and access to the online gallery was immediate and super easy. I would highly recommend them to friends and if we have another event requiring booth servicing, we'll be using them again!

We decided to add a photo booth to our November 2019 wedding late and were concerned with our options. The Hipstr all-inclusive package seemed WAY too good to be true. In addition, multiple reviews mentioned that Hipstr subcontracts with local photo booth providers rather than provide their own. However, Frances at Hipstr carefully walked us through both the package and provider options (at least for NYC-metro area weddings Hipstr uses their own photo booth equipment and operators) and was open to negotiating on price/hours. The Hipstr team we worked with on photo design was responsive and helpful. Our operator for the wedding was very helpful, especially with our older / not tech-saavy / inebriated (or all three!) guests and with children. The props table was very comprehensive (although we did bring a few of our own props just to make sure we had an ample supply – adding a few WWE championship belts really loosens people up!). The photos themselves were of remarkably highly quality. The video and social sharing features are fun add-ons for the (few) guests that take advantage of them, and the online gallery posted after the event is easy to navigate and download from. For couples waffling on the idea of a photo booth, we found that it’s an easy way to ensure that you get a wider array of guest photos and it gives the guests both entertainment and an easy souvenir. At the end of the night you even get a (surprisingly high-quality) album of guest photos to take home with you –immediate gratification while you wait for your official photos to come!
