With a large group of talented singers and musicians who played a spectrum of instruments, the range of music the band is able to play is astonishing. From the classics to the current radio hits, they can accommodate any party’s musical tastes. We worked with the band manager Stuart to give him a sense of our style by discussing their song lists and establishing “must plays” and “definitely not” songs. With a plan in place, I have to highlight what impressed us (and our guests) the most: The band flawlessly read the room throughout the night and adjusted their set lists, song by song, to accommodate the energy of the dancefloor. They were able to pick up the energy with the perfect song and give us the breaks we didn’t know we needed by slowing it down from time to time for more intimate slower dances. I’ve never seen so many empty seats at a reception because every person was on the dance floor having the time of their lives. We continue to receive rave reviews of our wedding with the band being the headline (after us of course!). We knew this band was going to be great. They ended up being legendary!
On top of this top-notch band, working with the band manager Stuart was one of our most fun, pleasant and outright helpful experiences out of all of our wedding planning. One minute on the phone with him and you can tell he’s a great guy and a professional. He drew our attention to details we didn’t even know we should be thinking about (beyond the music selections) and worked with us to round out our wedding plan. He offered guidance when we felt lost and always added his encouragement with a true sense of caring. We attribute a lot of our peace of mind and the success of executing our wedding plan to Stuart and we couldn’t praise the band any higher than we already have. A truly incredible group that is a must have for any event if you value professionalism and crowd pleasing, energetic live music!

Our wedding planner recommended this band. We took a chance and were so glad we did. Our guests stayed on the dance floor all night. The band is very versatile and professional - the brass section will amaze you. Anyone who enjoys music will appreciate and love this band. I still smile when I think about how much our wedding guests rave about them.

I had never seen Hip Pocket Orchestra before booking them, but I'd read great things and they were recommended by my planner. On the wedding day, I knew we made the right choice! They were amazing! They sounded fantastic, played a wide range of songs, and accurately assessed the crowd/mood to customize their playlist. When my dad had a musical element to his speech, they even hopped right in to back him up! Everyone had so much fun dancing to their music. Two weeks later, I'm still hearing from family and friends about how much they loved the band!

Hip Pocket Orchestra was fantastic at our wedding! Stu (the manager) was very professional and accommodating. The band did an amazing job and even learned our first dance song. They could read our guests and knew exactly what kind of music they were looking for. I am not exaggerating when I say the dance floor was packed the entire evening!! The best decision we made for our October wedding was hiring Hip Pocket Orchestra! I had heard them play several years ago at a friends wedding and after searching for a band decided to inquire about them. I am so glad I did! They played such a variety of music and had the dance floor packed the entire night! They were classy, fun, and energetic - just the feel I was looking for for my wedding.

I booked them through Music Management and worked with Stu Camiel on all the details. He works for Music Management, but is also the band leader of HPO.

Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this group. They don't get much exposure on these wedding boards, but should! I only wish I could have another huge party for them to perform!

The Hip Pocket Orchestra was amazing! The 3 lead singers were amazing, the horn section stupendous, and the dance floor was packed. Everyone commented at how they were the best band they had every heard! The band was very accommodating--they learned our first dance and played overtime because we were still going strong.
