About

Welcome to Heavitree. Our ancestors came here in 1635 from Heavitree, England, thus the name.
Heavitree is a new venue that is ideal for small, private weddings. Our historic inn is nestled in the middle of an early farm that offers pastoral views with spacious grounds so your wedding is in it’s own world, and it is like no other.
Instead of just your wedding day, why not your Wedding Weekend? Yes, at Heavitree, make this magical time in your life have it all. This venue has the space to host your Rehearsal, Rehearsal Dinner, guests stay over (up to 9), Wedding Day Prep, Wedding, Wedding Reception, guests stay over, Wedding Celebration Brunch. Each step that you take through your wedding weekend is a beautiful but different set up so it is very interesting and filled with wonderment. The Rehearsal Dinner can take place in our Great Room. It has a beautiful grand piano if you want anybody to have their hand at it. Have your bridal party, family or friends stay over so they are at the inn for the wedding prep day. Hair and makeup over endless coffee or tea. The photographers and videographers will be sure to love Heavitree with the endless photo opportunities it offers. With flowers in hand, the wedding takes place either on the spacious front lawn or your choice amongst the many options. For a change of scenery and to keep everyone’s experience peaked, the Wedding Reception is in the beautiful Carriage House of Heavitree. After the wedding cake we can move the tables out to the courtyard and create the perfect dance floor for the wedding celebration to continue. Often times you do not have enough time to visit with distant relatives or friends so a Wedding Brunch is offered. The perfect time to relax and join in on all the conversations and visiting you did not have time for at the wedding. Truly the perfect completion for your Wedding Weekend. We offer a package for your Wedding Weekend but we do offer other package plans to suit your needs with endless options and reduced prices. Please look at the photos and our web site. Phenomenal

When my fiancé and I started wedding planning, I somehow stumbled upon Heavitree. The photos on the website looked like they were out of a story book. I reached out via email & the owner Charlotte responded promptly. We scheduled a tour shortly after, and once we arrived, we knew Heavitree was where we wanted to get married. We didn’t even tour any other locations, this was it! Throughout the planning process, Charlotte was available for any and all questions we had. She supplies many items for your use which is included in the cost (linens, chairs etc.) She was always available & eager to help to ensure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. She has put so much love into this property & we received so many compliments about the location. The breakfast she made for us was plentiful & delicious. She truly is all about the guests & you can tell she loves what she does. Heavitree Bed & Breakfast is truly one of a kind with so much charm. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue or a romantic weekend away with your spouse, this is it! I cannot recommend Charlotte or Heavitree enough.

Truly amazing!

I knew Heavitree was our venue before we even went for our first visit. From not only the quaint New England charm but also the enthusiasm of Charlotte just in our first conversation I knew it was where we had to have our wedding. Throughout our planning, Charlotte was always there with any question, idea, or plan she was more than happy to assist and made everything feel seamless. There was a point where I was looking for a cupcake display and didn’t really have anything in mind so I left it up to Charlotte to decide. When we arrived for our final meeting, she showed me her idea and at this point I hadn’t showed her our cake topper so she had no idea what it was and her idea matched perfectly! Without even trying or knowing what our cake topper was the cupcake display she came up with was spectacular! That is just one of many instances where Charlotte truly goes above and beyond for her guests. She truly made me feel at ease throughout the entire process, everything we had talked about and even last minute additions/changes were ready, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! The B&B and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking, especially even in the rain! I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect venue and am so glad to have had Charlotte and her B&B be apart of our a special day. We cannot thank Charlotte enough for everything and can’t wait to go back to visit!

Exceptional service and venue

We had our dream wedding at Heavitree, made even more perfect by Charlotte and Antonio’s dedicated care. I would not have trusted anyone else with executing the most perfect day with a romantic backdrop—all under the full moon! Our guests raved about the 18th century inn and how incredible of a find it is. Truly a treasure!

Incandescent

When Western and I walked into Heavitree B&B, we were greeted by the sight of an 18th century great room, the fire warm in the hearth, the lighting dim but bright enough to see the guests were enjoying themselves. One of the guests, an Englishman and his partner, dressed in authentic 18th century garb, congratulated us on our engagement. For Western, I think it was this moment where he decided he wanted to have the wedding there. And while it was truly an incandescent moment, for me it was the proprietor. Charlotte is kind and courteous, hardworking and giving, thoughtful and inviting woman. She wants her home to be your home. She wants to give you delicious and filling breakfasts and warm fires. Most importantly, all she gives in the everyday absolutely transfers to your wedding. Her and Antonio were so wonderful, I know for a fact our wedding was as it was because of their love for Heavitree and for giving people the best special day they can. Charlotte and Antonio, we thank you for making our day so wonderful. It was more than a pleasure being in your care for our wedding and for a few days of our honeymoon as well!

Intimate Micro Wedding

The Heavitree BB is the perfect venue for a small wedding in a beautiful setting. Everything about the Heavitree was stunning from the moment you drive in. Charlotte and staff are very personable and go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. We truly felt that they were just as excited as we were and can not thank them enough for the support and flexibility they provided. We loved the feeling we got on every visit and plan to return for our anniversaries in the future.

Incredible venue for intimate wedding

We chose Heavitree B&B for our wedding venue and oh my goodness was it the perfect decision. Charlotte and Antonio worked with us every step of the way to help create our dream wedding! We hardly had to decorate the main house at all since it is already so beautiful. The team is incredibly easy to work with and will go above and beyond to make your dream come true! Most items that we needed such as tables, place settings, chairs, champagne glasses/cups, etc were even included. It was as stress free as I could ever imagine planning an event could be simply because of the attentiveness of the hosts at the B&B. We stayed over the night of the wedding; the beds are super comfy and the breakfast provided the morning after was so yummy. I can not say enough wonderful things about Charlotte and her team, so if you're looking for a place to have your wedding or just a place to stay, check out Heavitree!

The Best New England Small Venue

Heavitree is the perfect venue for weddings under 50 people. Our 30 person wedding fit perfectly! My guests loved it and so did we! Charlotte is so easy to work with and this place is amazing. I highly recommend checking it out if you have a smaller wedding and want a historical New England feel
