Heather is amazing! She's so talented and a joy to work with. I accidentally told our hair and make up artists the wrong time we were leaving for the venue giving us less time for getting ready pictures. Heather was extremely flexible and was able to get the pictures we needed in enough time to leave for the venue.

She was incredibly responsive with any questions I have and calmed my nerves in the final days leading up to the wedding as well. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a chill, laid back, and super talented photographer!

Heather was an absolute dream to work with. She was with me every step of the way wedding planning from my “say yes to the dress” moment all the way to our cake cutting. She made the entire process so easy and most importantly, her pictures came out STUNNING!

She not only made sure that each and every one of my vendors stuck to the timeline but had an absolute blast capturing the night. The best part? She had our photos back to us within A WEEK. ONE. WEEK! I’ve seen couples wait 6+ months for their final photos and I couldn’t even imagine. I can't say enough wonderful things about Heather. She not only captured the magic that was our wedding day, but also became a friend. She let me vent to her about crazy planning stresses which helped me maintain some sanity during the process. Heather goes above and beyond for you! My (now) husband and I decided to move abroad & we were rushed to plan our wedding/elopement in about 3 weeks...needless to say, we were overwhelmed and stressed. We found Heather through her partnership with ElopeRVA, and are SO incredibly lucky and grateful that she was our wedding photographer. We can't imagine working with anyone else! Heather made the process so easy and seamless from the moment we reached out to her. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had prior to the wedding and was overall very flexible and accommodating. I was having a wedding during COVID with a very high-risk family member and was worried about the group being too close together for group photos. Heather was so understanding and helpful when I told her this and helped us to work around it- all while making sure that everyone felt comfortable! On the day of the wedding, I was a mess...but Heather showed up early and made the process of posing for photos feel natural and fun! I had NO idea what type of photos I wanted, but Heather used her talent and creativity to come up with shots that were more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We are BEYOND in love with our photos. Heather was highly professional, but so much fun to work with at the same time, and it felt like we were hanging out with a friend...and we still continue to stay in touch! :) Afterwards, Heather got our pictures to us in ONE DAY! We were so amazed at how quick the turnaround time was, and were so thankful because we were so eager to see our photos! Any future photography needs, I would 10/10 reach out to Heather again first. We wish that we could give Heather more than just five stars, she deserves a million!! Honestly, we are so thankful that we hired her to capture our big day! I am not the easiest person to photograph and I came into our engagement session warning Heather that she was going to have her work cut out for her. I'm not the mushiest of brides either, so again...work cut out for her. When my pictures were ready (super, super fast!), I was very nervous about seeing them...but honestly, they are the BEST things I could have ever asked for! She truly captured the relationship between me and my partner and actually got a smile on my face. I am so thrilled that I chose her to do our pictures and am absolutely tickled to be taking her with us on our destination wedding in September! Heather is the fairy godmother of wedding and couples photography—she made our engagement photo dreams come true! She's darling to work with; so kind and cooperative, and we had so much fun with Heather that even my fiancé agreed that our engagement photo session didn't even feel like a photo session!
