JJ is the best chef to work with for so many reasons. He is incredibly thoughtful and professional. He has been in charge of one of the best restaurants in Steamboat for years and the moment he stepped foot on the property where we had our wedding I instantly felt at ease. Our venue had no running water or a kitchen so I was obviously nervous but JJ made it all happen seamlessly. He was flexible and created a meal that every guest was raving about! We feel so lucky to have JJ in Steamboat! He is a gem.

We had Harwigs cater our wedding of 70 people at Perry Mansfield in Steamboat and I could not have asked for a more perfect restaurant to do so! Not only was the food absolutely incredible, the staff were all amazing, caring, and hardworking people. I also had a great experience working with the chef, JJ in the planning process. I highly recommend them for catering needs, or just a nice dinner out in Steamboat!

Harwigs catered our wedding and it was fantastic. My husband and I are both from Colorado, but most of our guests were from out of state. Thus, we wanted a menu that focused on local ingredients. Harwigs really met all of our expectations. They provided variety and did an amazing job of accommodating all food restrictions. I can honestly say that anyone that was gluten free, dairy free, nut free or vegetarian had plenty of options, but that the meat eaters were definitely not disappointed. I cannot recommend Harwigs enough!!

We booked Harwigs to cater our 25 person wedding last summer. We decided to forgo a wedding planner because our group was small, so Chef JJ had to act as a pseudo coordinator, and he did not miss a beat! Great food was a priority for us, and Harwigs did an outstanding job from apps to dessert. Everyone kept commenting on how amazing the food was.
