Enter through the gates of The Fort and step back to the Early West. Nestled among the red rocks and the foothills overlooking Denver, The Fort is a full-sized adobe replica of Colorado’s first fur-trading post. The Fort has been featured by national media including Bon Appetit magazine and the Television Food Network and was voted by Denver’s 5280 magazine as one of the top 5 places to take out-of-town guests.
The Fort’s Private Events Manager will help you plan your rehearsal dinner, wedding celebration, corporate event or any special occasion. The Fort features romantic dining rooms with cozy beehive fireplaces and a spacious covered outdoor patio. The Main Dining Room, with its fireplace and view of the foothills and lights of Denver and the plains beyond, features a beamed ceiling, artwork, and authentic mid-nineteenth-century artifacts. They can accommodate parties from 8 to 350 special guests.
Treat your guests to a unique dinner of tender buffalo or beef, wild game, fresh seafood or a vegetarian tower. Unique appetizers & desserts are beautifully presented to tantalize the eyes and stomach for your guests to indulge.
The Fort has hosted President Clinton, Boris Yeltsin, and the world leaders during the Summit of Eight. Julia Child and many other celebrities have also dined at The Fort, located just north of US 285 and Highway 8.
