Epic Venue!
This is not a regular venue! It is a top notch, purpose built, professional venue for weddings, corporate retreats, family reunions, and any large group gathering. The facility is even better than described online, everything that can be provided is, and the on-site owner communication is the best you will ever find. Incredible views down the valley, massive hot tub, beautiful architecture, warm snuggly blankets to curl up on the couch with, games on the shelf, wood for the wood burning stove, top notch huge kitchen (I asked "do you have a crock pot", answer="yes we have four"). 10 minutes south of town with parking for all the vehicles. There is nothing they haven't thought of. Do yourself a favor and stop looking and just book it because you will not find a better place in Steamboat. One small story - I was getting married in Steamboat with about 20 family members and the bus we were taking back from the wedding to the house broke down on the side of the road (we had caterer's preparing a fantastic meal for us at the house and needed to be on-time) Owner of this VRBO and his wife happened to be driving by and thought they recognized us. They stopped and put the bride and 5 members of the wedding party in their large SUV to get them home and changed while the owner's wife stayed with us on the bus until a new bus came and could take everyone else to the house. They are just really really nice people who have committed themselves full time to ensuring your stay is perfect!

Amazing venue with the best hosts
There aren't enough stars to rate this stay. We held our wedding at SVC in July 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. The house transforms into a magical wedding venue with a few rentals/personal touches and couldn't have been more beautiful for our big day. The newly renovated kitchen downstairs was perfect for our caterers to use as well as our own needs during our stay. The giant hot tub was a hit with our guests. And David and Erica are really passionate about hosting and went above and beyond in every way for us. When we were in Steamboat six months before the wedding, David gave us a tour of the house when they had an open day between renters. And then, go figure, we had EVERYTHING set up outside on our wedding day and a pop up thunderstorm came through (don't worry.. we got it all covered!). In addition to loaning us tarps to cover our fully decorated arch, we looked out the window after the storm passed and Erica was out there wiping off our benches and helping us get back on track. We truly can't say enough nice things about this place and its wonderful hosts. This place deserves 10 stars and will always be very special to us. Reunion in a few years! Thank you to David and Erica.

Amazing Wedding Spot
I attended a small family wedding at Sky Valley Chateau recently and it was the perfect setting!! The ceremony area they have created was gorgeous, and the deck and chalet kitchen facilities were ideal for the reception and activities leading up to and following the event! There was plenty of space for those of us who stayed at the chateau to spread out, while also allowing us to spend time together! Would definitely recommend the beautiful Sky Valley Chateau to anyone looking for an amazing small destination wedding!!

Amazing weekend wedding venue
Amazing for our winter wedding weekend!
Sky Valley Chateau was the perfect place to host our intimate wedding weekend with our family and friends. Erica and David were tremendous hosts and left nothing to be desired. They communicated with us wonderfully and were happy to accommodate our requests to give us our dream day. 10/10, there is nothing I would have changed!! This place is a dream.

The ultimate micro wedding venue!
David and Erica Fisher were 5 star hosts for our micro wedding. I'd give them 10 stars if that was allowed! The professionalism and communication was unmatched. We were coming all the way from Texas and felt very comfortable with expectations ahead of time due to all of the communication. Any questions we had were promptly answered. We had several FaceTime calls to show us rooms and the wedding lawn set up so we could plan from afar. They helped connect us with local vendors who were all fantastic. Anything we needed during our wedding, they were a text away and always happy to help! I couldn't speak more highly of them or their beautiful venue! Our wedding pictures turned our breathtaking, and all of our spots were located 2 mins from the venue. Our guests complimented the venue and how comfortable and clean it was. They really do a fantastic job at keeping the kitchen stocked with every pot / pan you can think of...and every room is sparkling clean. We will definitely be back for another memorable weekend in the future. And most importantly our fur-baby dog was allowed to travel and stay with us, which meant the world to us that she could be apart of the event.

Microwedding
Microwedding of my dreams!
We had the best time at SVC for our small intimate wedding of 35. David and his wife Erica were so helpful preparing us and our party for our big day. David was so thoughtful and built a ceremony area on the side of the house which was just so perfect, great backdrop and lighting. The house was perfect for 22 of us, every couple got their own room/bathroom. The hot tub was such a treat also. David was really thorough on showing us around the house before all the guests showed up. From the moment we booked this place, it has been a dream working with them! Highly recommend.

Luxurious Mountain Cabin Paradise

Sky Valley Chateau is an incredible mountain mansion that can house 31 guests, and is settled in a forest of aspen trees, in the clouds above Steamboat.
David and Erica were incredible hosts who were abundantly communicative, available, and welcoming.
We housed our groomsmen here for our micro wedding weekend, and had a backyard welcome dinner party here. We were surrounded by Mountain View’s, an Aspen forest, wild flowers, and inside it felt like adult summer camp. It has all the modern luxuries you could think of, while maintaining a historical cabin charm. Can’t recommend enough, it was incredible!

Beautiful Wedding Venue & Stay
My fiancé and I had always wanted a wedding venue where everyone could stay and a small wedding in our home state of Colorado. This fit the bill plus some. The property itself is gorgeous. It’s just far enough away from the heart of steamboat that you have space but is easy to get to. From the grounds to the inside you couldn’t ask for a prettier place and great amenities. Host is extremely helpful and was available whenever I had questions. They live on the property so if you need anything they’re right there. They have a little set up for ceremonies with their own aspen arch. We had a blizzard going on but the aspens around and the window through the trees to the mountains and town make for a great venue. All family staying had a great time and our dogs we worked out bringing with the host loved the nature. Highly highly recommend even just for a trip with a larger party. It’s like the fanciest/coziest hotel you’ve ever been in.
