Carly Nelson provides elegant music for your wedding or special event. Whether you like more traditional or modern pop music, Ms. Nelson has no problem with mixing standards with new arrangements.

While Ms. Nelson loves performing at weddings, you can also find her performing with various groups and ensembles around Chicago and Michigan. She received her Bachelor's of Music from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, her Master's in Harp Performance from the Rice University Shepherd School of Music and a Specialist Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan.

Beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour music

Carly provided amazingly beautiful harp music for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. She was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding, helping provide suggestions for music choices. Our guests were so impressed with her artistry and commented on it multiple times. We highly recommend hiring Carly!

Carly was great! We booked her for our wedding when we were on the hunt for a harpist. Most of the ones with websites we could find were booked already, and we were referred to her by the head of the Music department at the University of Michigan as one of their TOP students.

She was perfectly priced, played to perfection, was nice, early to the venue, and was in and out without a problem. She was also great and had a vast song selection to choose from and the harp she used was beautiful. She was perfect!

If you're in need of a harpist, CHOOSE CARLY! She was wonderful, and how could you not support a college student!?!?
