What is the story behind Harp By Request?
Imagine walking down the aisle to your favorite song, played by a harp. With over 20 years of experience and playing for over 700 weddings, Mindy is an expert at ceremony and reception music. She can play any type of music - classical, movie themes, musicals, pop, jazz, Celtic, new age - and help you choose the music that is perfect for you. She has performed in most of the wedding venues in the Philadelphia area and is very familiar with non-religious ceremonies, as well as nuptial masses, Greek Orthodox ceremonies and Jewish ceremonies.
Principal Harpist for the Pennsylvania Ballet, Mindy Cutcher is a classically trained harpist and a sought after recording and performing artist. She has performed on NBC's The Tonight Show and performed with notable names such as Josh Groban and Anne Hathaway.
You can choose solo harp, flute with harp, violin with harp or a harp trio.

Gorgeous Harp and Cello Duo for Wedding
We had our wedding at Winterthur in DE, and coming down the aisle to the most beautiful rendition of Edelweiss really made my day. She also knows a number of other artists, and adding the cello created a gorgeous balance of warm cello notes alongside the bright melodic strings on the harp. Our guests talked about it the entire night :)
I also enjoyed the mix of modern and classical music during cocktail hour - Mindy has a wide range of music to choose from.
If you're looking for Bridgerton vibes but without a full violin quartet, I think this duo pulled it off better.
All in all, just so happy with the performance. if I could give her more than 5 stars I would.
