I found Harbor Hair Co thru wedding wire and per my sister in laws recommendation. We had Maureen do makeup and Liz for hair for 6 of us, it was totally seamless and fun. I went to Liz for a trial run a few months out and she was absolutely fantastic and gave me exactly what I wanted. Then the day before I went and got a blow out with Liz and then on my wedding day Liz and Maureen came to us and did hair and make up. They were both able to exactly replicate the inspirational photos I showed them, and everyone was very happy with their hair and make up. We highly recommend Liz and Maureen and my soon to be sister-in-law is going to be using them as well for her wedding in July!

During COVID 2020 unfortunately was when my now Husband and I were scheduled to get married and that made things challenging for all couples, venues, and vendors...Harbor Hair Company, specifically Abby and Vanessa whom we worked with the day of our wedding were phenomenal! They styled 10 women’s hair including mine, the bride, for my wedding and we all looked beautiful! They were so nice, flexible, and understanding throughout everything! I would highly recommend Harbor Hair Company to anyone looking to have their hair styled for an event!

Maureen did my bridal makeup and my wedding party's makeup. She is the ultimate professional, always responsive, organized, on time and a true artist. I wanted my bridal look to last all day but look natural and she made it happen perfectly! I couldn't be more happy with the beautiful look she created for all of us!
Abby did my bridal hair and my wedding party's hair. She is so talented, professional and really took the time to understand the hairstyle I wanted. I loved my hairstyle and the beautiful up dos and they lasted all evening.

Abby and Maureen did my hair and makeup for my wedding and they were awesome! Abby was very responsive to emails and accommodating to my schedule. During the hair and makeup trial, we tried out several different looks which was helpful to me since I wasn’t sure want I wanted. The morning of my wedding it poured with rain (I had an outdoor wedding) but Abby and Maureen were great at keeping the mood fun and making my hair and makeup weather-proof! They both did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them!

Abby is amazing! I got married on July 15th (which was a Sunday), and Abby did our hair on-site. She did my hair, along with 3 bridesmaids and the mothers of the bride/groom. She made everybody look great! And she even stayed late to put in my veil. I highly recommend her / Harbor Hair for your wedding!

Harbor Hair - specifically Abby for hair and Maureen for makeup both were amazing to work with. I was very happy to have a trial with both prior - to be sure that my hair and makeup would come out exactly as I wanted. I have very long thick hair and can be very particular about it - so having a trial & confirming that everything would work put me at ease. Abby did such a great job on my hair. Maureen was great to work with for makeup & even accommodated some last minute changes from me in regards to what I wanted done. Both were great to work with!

I used Harbor Hair and Skin Studio for hair and makeup for my wedding in August 2016. Abby did an awesome job on my hair both on my wedding day and at my trial! She let me try different things until I felt it was perfect. Maureen did my makeup and it looked and felt great all day! My bridesmaids and the moms had Laurel, Vanessa, Sarah, and Abby do their hair and Maureen do their makeup. Everyone left looking great! They even gave us a room to hang out in while the rest of the party was having hair/makeup done and encouraged us to order food and feel at home. I never felt rushed and it was a great experience. I highly recommend Harbor Hair and Skin Studio!

The entire staff at Harbor Hair is beyond incredible. My bridal party and I had so much fun getting our hair done at their wonderful shop on the morning of my wedding. Each and every one of us ended up with stunning hairstyles. The women who own the shop are so sweet, accommodating, and timely. Harbor Hair Company in York Maine did my hair for my daughter's wedding and also did her hair and her wedding party on Aug 2. My daughter was very happy with everybody's updos. They were wonderful! The bridesmaids (and the bride)were all different and they looked beautiful! Each and every one of us received so many compliments on our hair from people at the wedding and the hair stylists were so friendly and pleasant and made the morning of the wedding awesome and so relaxed for all of us! If I lived in the area, I would go back for sure!! I highly recommend them!!

Shannon from Harbor Hair and Laurel were awesome to work with.  Both girls came to the wedding venue where my girls and I were getting ready to do our hair.  They were so accommodating and even shut down the salon for those few hours to be available for us.  Shannon and I had a trial run months before the wedding where I briefly described what I wanted and she ran with it.  Offering tons of suggestions of what they could do to make my hair design unique.  The wedding day came and when I looked at the back of my hair I was amazed.  She took my little half up style and turned it into something so adorable and unimaginable I had to have her put the veil comb underneath it instead of over it like we had originally planned because I didn’t want to block the design!  They really went above and beyond!  Loved working with Harbor Hair and I would highly recommend using them!
