Let the Hancock House Hotel set-up, clean-up and host, giving you the chance to prepare. Its decor of wood and stone, as well as its refined creamy furniture and bright setting, lend a classy touch. The Club House at the French Woods Golf Course is also available for you to reserve for events. The Pavilion is also available if an outdoor location is more your style.
Weddings are rarely stress-free, but you’ll find that difficult to believe in the relaxing settings of each of these rooms. As the all-important couple, you can steal a moment to yourselves to toast your marriage on the Latin Quarter-style balconies in the rooms as the evening draws in, or move down to Eddie’s Bar to kick-start the celebrations. The Hancock House Hotel prides itself on providing comfort for all guests with free WiFi, room televisions, as well as wheelchair-accessible suites and shower facilities.
The Hancock House Hotel has 32 rooms, all decked out in classic Mission style. Available in a variety of layouts and sizes, you and your wedding entourage can get a great night’s sleep in either Queen Rooms, King Rooms or a cosy suite. Wedding guests also have the option to stay in one of the 14 fully-furnished cabin rentals, adding a rustic element to the Hancock experience.
In the Maple Room, you and your guests can be treated to a breakfast of buttermilk pancakes, french toast casserole, fruit parfait as well as more traditional offerings of bacon, egg, and toast. For that all-important rehersal dinner or reception banquet, you can savor a diverse menu of appetizers (wrapped asparagus, bacon wrapped scallops, spinach artichoke dip, brushetta, crispy shrimp wraps, ect.), a classic buffet (shrimp primavera, apple brandy chicken, fettuccine alfredo, beef tips, vegetarian lasagna, ect.) as well as or plated entrees of prime rib, broiled haddock with lemon butter, chicken marsala, ect.
Proprietors Lynn and Russell Bass have inherited a long history for the Hancock Hotel in the area. Although it is not the original building (the new foundations were laid a couple of miles east of it some 35 years after its predecessor was razed) the fact the name lives on is a testament to its importance.
The Hancock House Hotel and Maple Room Restaurant is near the wedding of the waters of the Delaware river, in the beautiful scenery of the Catskill Mountains.

The Hancock House Hotel is a hidden gem! It sits in the small, yet beautiful town of Hancock, NY. It has an updated and beautiful dining room and a large, welcoming bar. The staff at the HHH are friendly, accommodating, and professional on all accounts! The convenience of staying (overnight) on site is also another wonderful feature! The river and historic features of the town make for beautiful wedding photos! The food was terrific and the prices were very reasonable for both food and beverages. I would choose the HHH every time for a wonderful wedding experience!Sent on 03/06/2019

A wonderful day!
We had our wedding at the Hancock House in July. They were very accommodating and everything went very smoothly. They did a beautiful job with our decorations. The food was great and the serving staff was excellent. We would highly recommend this venue.Sent on 03/07/2019
