We had a wonderful experience at Hamilton Hill! As two brides, they helped us with two engagement rings and two wedding bands, plus a special custom necklace. We went in just to look around, with no knowledge about fine jewelry, and Sarah and Kai patiently helped us with zero sales pressure. They are both incredibly talented and offered helpful suggestions to suit our individual styles, including a matte gold ring option, which turned out beautifully. We had many visits to the store as we narrowed down our decisions. We love our rings and are thrilled with our overall experience. We can't recommend Hamilton Hill highly enough!

Sarah is a truly wonderful human. I reached out to her while my wife and I were on the hunt for a wedding band. Sarah was incredibly accommodating and supportive. We live out of state and planned a special trip to Durham to finalize the purchase details. She moonlit as a travel agent and offered fantastic local recommendations for us during our trip, including hotel options and must-see sites. She was reassuring with difficult sizing, and the ring fits absolutely perfectly. Sarah offered us a fair price, kept us well informed of our order, and put so much thought into every detail - from offering engraving to including a stately ribbon around the ring box and a buffing cloth to maintain the finish (since we can’t visit her in person as much as we’d like to). The selection of jewelry she curates at Hamilton Hill is stunning. We are a difficult pair to shop for and left with plenty of treasures added to our wish list.

My husband and I got our engagement/wedding bad set at Hamilton Hill and not only are the beautiful, but they are so original. His is more clean and simple while mine is a bit more ornate. The ladies that work there are so patient and willing to help. Also it is important to support small business.
