About

Kayley Vandenberg is a bridal hair specialist located in northern WA.

After six years of working behind a salon chair in Michigan, Kayley moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to pursue her dream of doing wedding hair full time. For five years she worked as a lead stylist for several beauty companies and built her own hairstyling business. During this time she had the pleasure of working as the go-to stylist for wedding planner, Tessa Brand of Tessa Lyn Events, who was recently named one of the top 50 wedding planners in the world.

Kayley is it!

I asked Kayley to do my hair prior to the pandemic. I loved her style and how effortless and natural her hairstyles looked. I was able to have my trial with Kayley and she was so easy to talk to, showed up right on time, a great listener and so thoughtful and open to any feedback. I loved my hair and was really excited to have her back for the big day! Unfortunately, due to COVID, there was a lot of uncertainty. Kayley was so communicative, flexible and understanding. I would recommend Kayley to any bride who wants a natural, beautiful hair style and wants someone who feels like a friend to do that for them.

Kind, Flexible and Communicative

I hired Kayley to do my hair for my July 2020 wedding, which ended up getting postponed due to COVID and eventually cancelled. While I was unfortunately never able to work with Kayley in person, I have communicated with her a lot over email. Kayley was extremely kind and flexible with my ever-changing plans, was quick to respond, and was always willing to make something work. While I can't speak to her work first hand and I think her talent shows through the beautiful styles I've seen in photos, I can testify to how easy and wonderful she is to work with. I hope to get my hair styled by her one day!

Kayley’s Wonderful!

Kayley did my hair along with my bridal party, flower girl, and mom. A few of my family members have curly hair so they’re super hesitant to let anyone touch their hair since so many people don’t know how to style it. They looked fabulous and they loved their hair! Kayley said she enjoys working with curly hair which helped eased their apprehensiveness.

Kayley is also super warm, inviting, and calm. She’s nice to have around especially when it’s such an important day.

My niece still talks about her cause she was so sweet. ♥️

Stress-free, warm, professional

Kayley did my hair on my wedding day, and I can't recommend her enough. She saw my vision, made sure it was exactly right, and put all of my worries at bay. Kayley's warm energy, professionalism, and attention to detail was exactly what I needed on my wedding day. I was so happy with how my hair turned out. If you're thinking about booking her for a special event I would not hesitate!

Incredibly talented and low-key the perfect combo

Choosing vendors is so hard (especially when you have an out of town wedding) but I am so thrilled I had the fortitude to reach out to Kayley to do my hair and my bridal parties hair for my wedding. She is incredibly talented and current in her hair styles and can draw from her years in the wedding industry. I loved my hair and all of my bridesmaids felt they had special attention and loved their hair as well. My mom (who hated her hair for my sisters wedding) was so worried about getting her hair done, but Kayley listened to her and gave her exactly the look she wanted. She was almost in tears she was so happy. Best of all, Kayley fit in so well with our group and brought this low key, but fun energy to the day. On a day with tons of stress and emotions I was so thankful for her talent and the energy she brought. A total pro. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs bridal hair services.

Kind and excellent at what she does!

Kayley was awesome!
She was super flexible and I was able to trust that she could do my hair how I wanted, even without a trial before.
I last minute decided that I did in fact want a professional to do my hair for my wedding, and she was very accommodating.
My hair looked great all day and night without being uncomfortable.
My sisters (and bridemaids) really liked their hair as well.
I would highly recommend Kayley.

A Perfect Hair Styling Experience!

Kayley made my bridesmaids and me feel gorgeous at my wedding! She is so skilled with hair and gave us each a distinct look that looked so great together as a unit. The 5 of us received so many compliments that day on our hair! On top of that, Kayley is so sweet and fun to talk with. I would recommend her services to anyone, and would get my hair styled by her again in a heartbeat!

Kayley is the BEST!

Kayley saved my wedding! I had no hairstylist with just a few weeks to go before my wedding. She was quick to respond and so flexible in setting up a trial quickly. Not only is she the sweetest person ever but she also was such a relaxing, professional presence. In the whirlwind of the wedding day she made sure to take the time to get every detail right in not only my hair but my mom and sisters' as well. She is passionate and so knowledgeable- my hair is notoriously thick and had been difficult for some stylists to work with in the past but she styled it effortlessly. Kayley truly made my day that much sweeter- I don't know what I would've done without her!

Look no further for dream hair!

If you’re at all considering Kayley to do your hair consider this the sign that you should book her! She is amazing in every way! Without ever having met or seen my hair Kayley showed up (in the midst of wedding chaos, I might add), asked a couple of questions and got to work giving me my dream hair! She was unobtrusive, fun to talk to and knows her stuff when it comes to hair! I was concerned that having short hair that doesn’t hold a curl would limit what she could do but she worked serious magic and gave me curls that held all night. I could not recommend Kayley more!!
