Located just eight miles east of Downtown Austin and decorated with century-old trees and wildflower meadows, the Green Gate Farms make a beautiful venue for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and engagement photos. Our historical Big Red Barn, built in 1902 by the Bergstrom family, is perfect for indoor dining in the hayloft. Guests may also dine ouside between the vegetable garden beds or in the shade of the Children's Garden.
We offer onsite catering and bouquets from our beds of certified organic vegetables, herbs and flowers,. Our flower arrangements may even be edible upon request.
Come see why "Better Homes and Gardens" chose to have its farm photo shoot here in July of 2011.

The flowers and decor that Green Gate Farms was exactly what we where looking for. Since our wedding was at the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems, having the flowers and decor reflect both Austin and sustainability was very important to us. The flowers arrangements were like nothing we had ever seen before and absolutely beautiful. Also, working with Green Gate was real pleasure, they were very professional throughout the event and very organized.Sent on 01/08/2014

Green Gate Farms grew and arranged the flowers for our rustic chic outdoor Texas wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous! What a delight to spot kale leaves in my bridesmaids' bouquets and green beans (!) in my fiance/husband's boutonniere!Sent on 01/11/2014
My husband and I loved being able to support a local business, buy organic flowers that were grown right here in Austin, and still stay well within our budget. I recommend Green Gate to any creative, local-minded, wildflower-loving bride-to-be.

The flowers were incredible! They were creative and seasonal, featuring sunflowers, green beans, wildflowers etc. I would HIGHLY recommend using Green Gate farms to grow your flowers if you are interested in real Central Texas flavor.Sent on 06/20/2013
