Nicole Wickens at Green Door Photography worked with us during our wedding on September 4th, 2021 and was so amazing on every level. She was easy to communicate with, extremely professional and organized, and is just in general a delightful person! She put me at ease in front of the camera (not an easy feat), gave my husband and I just enough direction to make everything easier, and is clearly incredibly skilled and creative. Nicole brought a second photographer Bess to the wedding and the two of them made the whole experience a blast. Even though I had never met them before I was so glad to have them there to celebrate with us, we loved them!!

I can tell you--hiring a good photographer who is able to document your wedding weekend and capture not only the posed family portraits, but more importantly capture the special moments you have with your family and friends, is absolutely priceless. Green Door Photography does just that. Nicole and Heather take beautiful, artistic pictures and somehow still remain in the background so you don't feel awkward being photographed for 8 hours straight. I originally met Nicole at a friend's wedding in Glacier, MT and was blown away by the quality and uniqueness of her photographs. When searching for photographers in Wisconsin for my own wedding, I didn't find anyone close to the caliber of Green Door Photography so I opted to fly them to Wisconsin for our wedding last month. This was an investment since we were not a couple with an endless wedding budget, but it was the best investment I made for our wedding. Nicole and Heather are outrageously talented and you have BOTH of them photographing your wedding. Not only can they take amazing pictures, they are genuine, funny, beautiful women who you will want to hang out with on a regular basis (seriously), which is important because the last thing you want to deal with on your wedding day is an irritating photographer following you around cracking bad jokes and telling you to look "sassy". I would recommend these gals to everyone--be sure to book them early as they fill up quick!

I absolutely love Nicole and her amazing photography. She provided everything that my husband and I were looking for in a photographer, and she even stayed longer than stated in her contract. He photos turned out amazing and she made us both feel totally comfortable with her so that we could act natural and not feel awkward or like we were posing. The entire process was really easy and I liked her from the moment we met. She even handled our difficult family members well! Her two assistants were also great, I forgot they were even there taking great photos!

Nicole from Green Door was amazing!! Deciding on a photographer is a tough thing to do for a wedding, as those photos will remain with you for the rest of your lives. Nicole has an amazing eye for great shots and when I show our wedding photos, the first comment is "Who was your photographer, she did an amazing job!" and it is true. Nicole met with us to do our engagement photos and made us feel right at ease and ready for our wedding. My guests all loved her, she fit right in and made them comfortable. We did a wedding album with her, and again, we get a ton of positive responses to the book...now we just need to get pregnant so we can work with her again for the cute family photos :)

Nicole is rad: I work in magazines, and I work with a lot of talented photographers in NYC and LA, and yet, I didn't want to fly anyone out to Montana to shoot our wedding because Nicole's work is exactly what we wanted. She is so easy going and lowkey that she made the whole thing painless (we HATE having our picture taken). She really captured us, and our families, and all the details we worked so hard on for the wedding itself.
