Joelle was recommended to us by a dear friend. We were trying to throw together a tight budget wedding very quickly. Joelle’s packages are very reasonably priced and her work was worth every penny. Joelle asked me to send her a pintrist board with some wedding photo inspo so she could get an idea of the style and vibe we were going for, which I thought showed her commitment to creating photos that we will love forever, vs what will look good to the masses on her portfolio. We stayed in communication and met in person in the months leading up to the wedding. I’m not good at planning, and there were a lot of details that I was missing. Joelle went as far as helping me work out some of the details that I never would have thought of. Throughout the entire process she was incredibly professional, kind, communicative, and her excitement about being our photographer was touching and contagious.

The day of my wedding, she showed up on time and ready to get to work. I was in the middle of hair and makeup when she arrived and she immediately got to work on taking photos. She was respectful of every request I made throughout the day. She was super creative in her pose suggestions, taking really unique photos that I’ve never seen in standard wedding photos before. She’s like a little energizer bunny, and was on me like white on rice, capturing all the best moments of our big day. She checked in with me often, making sure I was feeling good, or if I needed anything. I had several guests come to me and compliment me on my photographer, which really says something about her. I honestly felt like I had a friend hanging out with me all day and I was a little sad when she left 😆

We received around 20 edited photos within a week of the wedding and were blown away. They were absolutely perfect. I cried lol. I cannot wait to see the rest.

Joelle is an amazing photographer, but on your wedding day she’s so much more than that. She’s a coordinator, a security guard, a hype girl and, to me anyway, a friend. I couldn’t have asked for more.
