Amber Fern is amazing. She was one of the biggest and most memorable parts of my wedding day. She was great in helping us plan the wedding in what would flow the best for pictures, but she was someone I looked to for advice and her opinion on ideas and looks.
My husband and I have been going to Amber every year on our anniversary since our wedding day and doing anniversary pictures. Every session with Amber is even more exciting and creatively beautiful. Our picture day is alway a day that we look forward to and having Amber spend it with us every year is magical.
She has honestly become a good friend and feels like a close member of my family.

My husband and I loved working with Amber & Charley Fern! Amber took the photos of our August 2014 wedding, while Charley made the video.

First, the product was amazing. We loved the still shots Amber took. She had lots of creative ideas and was open to new ones. Amber allocated plenty of time at 5 different locations and presented us, our families, and our friends in the best light. Similarly, Charley made two incredible videos of our wedding. He was very discreet and non-intrusive. My husband (who was hesitant to get a videographer), loved the wedding video and often shows the two-minute version to friends because it's so well-done.

Secondly, Amber and Charley work well together. They have amazing chemistry. That proved to be a tremendous asset the day of our wedding. With all the stress of a wedding, the last thing you want is two vendors working together for the first time bickering or getting in one another's way.

Third, Amber and Charley make you feel comfortable. Remember: You’ll spend a lot of time with your photographer. Amber & Charley are genuinely likeable and nice to have around. Both have such a great vibe that puts you at ease. We actually had a wedding planner for our event. But for some reason on the day of our wedding, Amber ended up performing many of the functions I would have expected of the wedding planner. When we were behind schedule with hair and makeup, Amber was the one who calmed me down, told me I looked beautiful, and promised we were going to make everything work. She also came up with the solution to modify our schedule in a more time-efficient manner. In hindsight, I actually preferred the arrangement she came up with. Amber should get a lot of credit for improvising, keeping me calm, and helping me focus on what was important. I am still so thankful when I think of how she managed my emotions that day!

Any couple would be very lucky to land Amber & Charley to capture their wedding.

Amber has such a creative eye for flattering, unique photos. She made our engagement photo session so much fun because of her easy-going, bubbly personality. I will absolutely utilize Fern Photography again in the future.

Amber was awesome with everyone even our stubborn flower girls. She made everything a big party and it was nice not having to stress over our photographer because she was early and ready to go!

Amber was our photographer for out June 2014 wedding and we could not have enjoyed our experience and the pictures we received more. My husband and I do not consider ourselves photogenic people, so we were nervous going into our engagement session. Right from the beginning Amber was able to make us feel comfortable and at ease with her. This continued on the wedding day itself. She was energetic and upbeat the entire day and was always coming up with creative and fun picture ideas. We received our edited pictures quickly and the hardest part came when it was time to narrow down our selection. She captured our day perfectly and we will always cherish our wedding pictures.

Amber was absolutely amazing! She was so creative and really put us at ease when shooting our wedding. The photos came out amazing and we got all of our pictures 2 months after the wedding. We couldn't have been happier!
